I don't know, but its probably the same reason I start giggling like a little schoolgirl.

Speaking of Pets, here's Abigail (aka Fatty-Fat) as a precocious child:

Me too. Nice Pred. Just cleaned it up a bit for you.

I don't have any animals at the moment, alas. My girlfriend got me a The Cheat, however.

Hobbs, and Tyrion.
Not pictured: The Dog - Rosie.

Here's Archie. His cut went wrong this time, he should have floppy hair over his eyes, but he's grown quite a bit since his first appearance here a while back.

And here is his puppy pic, before everything grew in.

Here are the animals getting their xmas picture taken. It only took us 15 minutes this year.

Grue - black cat
Snickers - brown/black cat
Bender - gold cat
Doc - Boston Terrier

The same reason why I do: Because cats are undeniably cute, amusing, and terrifying all at the same time.

Here's my one and only pet I've had, who I put to sleep a couple months ago. She was 15 years old, and would literally stalk me through the house until I sat down. She would then proceed to launch into my lap and be completely asleep within the minute. I named her Lovey because a.) I was 4 when I named her as a kitten, and b.) she wouldn't meow, but instead do one of those adorable squeaks when she was happy.. which was pretty much any moment that she was awake.

In the words of Triumph, This thread ees adorable.

We bought my son a yellow lab about 3 weeks ago. Turned out he was allergic to dogs (seems he was allergic
to the rottie that we had to put down due to cancer and we didn't know. Just thougth he had asthma like his
mom and dad). So he's getting this:

And then we'll get him a cat once he passes the allergic to cats test. Then the fun will come when we put the
cat against the roboreptile

It's what separates us from the animals. Well, at least the cats.

I have 4 overlords, 5 if you count my g/f and I don't though since she doesn't come here. I'm working on getting the other 2 as overlord Thomas saw fit to destroy the digicam.

IMAGE(http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l193/brizahd/Thomas.jpg)
This is Thomas. He is a Maine Coon mix of some sort. I got him from a local animal shelter so I don't know how old he is, but from the way he acts I'm guessing sorta young. He is a nonfat 15lbs. I wanted something for a scale of size so I took the picture in front of my lcd 32" and the keyboard.

IMAGE(http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l193/brizahd/Cleo.jpg)
This is Cleo and she is a pure Maine Coon. I think she is 2yrs old, and she is a fat 16lbs. She is the reason we got another maine coon cause she is the most mellow cat ever. Unfortunetly Thomas not so much.

The other 2 cats are Squeak and Gidget, both are small compared to these 2. Hopefully my overlord can fix her camera and I'll share them with you as well.

We have 3 dogs, a cat and and a salamander.

My new pup in my new house. Harper on Brearly St.

She's a Beagle/Australian Shepard mix. About a year old and just about perfect. Came from the rescue totally house-trained. If you ever hear barking in the background during some Gears of War, it means she's found a streetlight outside or something.

This is Wilbur, our Chow

Otisarious the Barbarian

The Red Furred Engine of Death
Otuskus the Great

The list goes on.

Johnny, use Photobucket or some other (free) service that lets you link in.

Painthappens, Archie in my post above is a Portuguese Water Dog. We got him in part because he's got one coat instead of two, so he does not shed fur, but rather it's more like human hair in staying put until it's tugged out. Also, the lack of the undercoat means very little dander, so he's great for people who are allergic to pet hair and dander. We all suffered from allergies to our cats, thinking it was asthma, so when we found out Porties are darn close to hypoallergenic we visited a breeder, who had about 18 living in her house. Several hours of being swarmed and none of us triggered. No allergy problems in the last year, from the dog anyway. Grass and weeds are another matter...

They are still kind of hard to get, but they are working dogs - active and extremely intelligent (like, opens the latch on his kennel from outside intelligent), and you need to be able to deal with a creative dog that constantly looks for dominance. No tug of war, no hand-feeding, no sitting above you, no going on stairs before you, etc. But they are amazing dogs and they relish training, agility and water work. (Oh, and they are mouthy, especially as puppies. No chew toy around? They will literally chew the leg off a table in minutes when younger, although they much prefer chew toys.)

Anyway, if you want dogs but have allergies, check out Porties. Unbelievable animals.

Not my dog, but I still cleaned up it's messes:

Could be Vizsla as well? I think they look pretty similar.

The dog. Best dog ever. She's getting way on the old side though. She'll be 15 soon

We have a couple of cats but I seem to have lost my photos of them somehow.
