NBA Live 07 cancelled for PS3

Rumors abound that Oblivion and FEAR will also be delayed due to the launch window sales cap. Good thing Resistance is the only game in which anyone seems to be interested.

I'm selling cases of haterade out of the trunk of my car. I can get you a great discount, if you're interested. Don't want to get dehaterated during this critical time of the season.

Screw cases. I need a pallet.

Just need a tax ID number and I can get you an account set right up. We'll drop ship right to your door.

This is EA's NBA Live 07 game... looks to me like they doing PS3 users a favor by canceling it. Xbox 360 version, I heard, was... um... CRAP!

True, but I still think it's very, very interesting that the world's largest video game publisher has cancelled what should be a premier launch title for a "premier" console.

Generally speaking, NBA is the one EA sports franchise that is consistantly outsold by the 2k series. They probably wisely decided that the money spent making the title would not be worthwhile considering how few PS3s will be available for the first 6 months, how few of the buyers will be basketball fans, and not selling to a majority of those people.

Or they were never making the game and pretended to, in order to make 2k spend the money to bust ass and get a game out as a launch title.

Looks like Gamespot is now piling on.

The level design in Genji is really the biggest culprit. In spite of the lush scenery, the minimap reveals these areas for what they are--a bunch of rooms interconnected with a bunch of corridors.

I just can't help but laugh every time I read this, maybe it's because I read it with the John Stewart internet is made of a bunch of tubes voice.

I'm not defending Sony or Genji in any way, but how is this any different from Halo?

*Cue ColdForged rushing in and smacking me around*

Halo's soundtrack is better?

The AI doesn't look as brain dead as the Resistence videos?

MSNBC has some mainstream love for GoW, and takes time to point out why the 360 is now the system to buy this Christmas. This is not a great review, but it was interesing how often they mentioned that there is no game that looks better than Gears, while the 360 is cheaper and easy to find.

"If you have an Xbox 360, "Gears" is a must-have. And if you're still sitting on the fence about which next-generation console to buy "” Xbox 360 or PS3 "” Gears of War makes the decision this holiday a no-brainer."

From MSNBC? Color me impressed. -_-

Mex, you're off mark by just a hair.

Doh! That was really dumb.

Are then any reviews of Resistance: Fall of Man yet? I'm reeeeaaaallllly curious to see if it bombs cause that'll be the one of the last straws to break the camel's back for Sony!

Can things get any worse for Sony?

Not after that, no. Bastard.

I'm not defending Sony or Genji in any way, but how is this any different from Halo?

Or any other game for that matter.

Didn't get me, Rocky! But well played.

Oh, and Hemi, I don't need any haterade, thanks. I brew my own, like moonshine.

Well, I thought I would try. That was my first attempt.

Thankyou Rocky. If PS3 adds included the kitty cat dance I may feel a little less animosity towards Sony. Just a little.

I do what I can.

It always brings a tear to my eye to see my extended online family propagating the eternal entertainment of the kitty cat dance!

Bravo, Rocky! Bravo! :dances:

If you find the Kitty Cat Dance amusing, Fars, then that's one more frightening thing we have in common.
