A Message For My Girlfriend

Speaking of welcoming overlords, what the hell is that a reference to? I've been meaning to ask for some time.

Well, everyone knows that luna is a figment of my imagination. I even go so far as to play Halo 2, GRAW, Chromehounds with my feet so that "the both of us" can play at the same time. I mean, everyone knows that nerds don't really have girlfriends (let alone wives!), right?

I'm guessing Zero's the feet and Luna's the hands. Hiyo!

Burrrrrrrrn! :D

This thread continues to deliver!

Speaking of welcoming overlords, what the hell is that a reference to? I've been meaning to ask for some time.

I believe it's from The Simpsons. Homer was on the space shuttle Corvair and released the ants. Kent Brockman, back on Earth, goes to a live feed on board the shuttle and an ant floats by appearing gigantic. At that point the feed cuts out. Brockman starts talking about how it will be a quick enslavement of the human race but cheerfully adds "I for one welcome our new ant overlords" and comments how as a celebrity he could be useful in rounding up humans to work in their sugar caves.

Edit: Or Scoli could beat me to it.

That's it, just keep adding to their drool. You and Demi will both be held responsible for anyone drowning in their own lap.

I have an idea for the next donation drive: Win a date with clover! Only $25 per raffle ticket, enter as many times as you want!

Yeah, but if the "Demi = clover" theory turns out to be true, do you really want to be the winner?

Err... When you say "enter as many times as you want!" .... Oh! I see, the raffle. Sorry. And uh, welcome clover!

Was it poor sentence structure or weirdness that got me in trouble there?

I don't care. As long as we get more Clover posts. Emasculating Demi even further. This was indeed an awesome thread.

ACK! There goes my keyboard!

Clover, you have to understand, no way a thread this long (and great) can stay on topic. It has to migrate and contain theories or it will go the way of the dodo...

Hey, I can always throw together some more graphs if needed. But that would require counting posts again and I'm too lazy. It's Friday.

Topic drift: Not a mistake, an evolution!

Drift is cool. I rather like the idea that Demi's Clark Kent and I get to be Superman.

Personal offense aside, the man does have a nose for value.

Then I'll donate $10 for every ThinkGeek shirt someone buys me, and post a picture wearing it. Compromise?

Certis? Do I smell an ad/donation drive? Instead of Konami you could just cycle pictures of clover on the left side of the page.

Welcome, Trifolium repens.

Pah! I wonder why...

Because they are dangerous, duh.

Now see, you almost drew ME onto the excitement bandwagon and I've been trying to remain relatively third party about this. Clever woman. I'm on to you. Everybody... run!

Oh ho ho! Hows it feel to be the mild mannered alter ego, Demi?

Feels like it must be Friday.

I'll bid $20 on Demi. I need a haircut.

I suddenly begin to wonder whether ThinkGeek stocks T-shirts that come in very small sizes, or at least ones that have a very (very) high waist line.

As has been said earlier TTIWWP. Okay, not entirely worthless, but pictures would improve it.

And that the heavens for that.

And to aid in further derailment, I present you a random blurb from a random essay:
Economic Factors

Increasingly economic growth and innovation are being attributed to ninja monkeys. We will primarily be focusing on the Simple-Many-Pies model. For those of you unfamiliar with this model it is derived from the Three-Amigos model but with greater emphasis on the outlying gross national product.

Oil Prices vs ninja monkeys

When displayed this way it becomes very clear that ninja monkeys is of great importance. Well oil prices world wide are driven entirely by ninja monkeys. Assumptions made by traders have caused uncertainty amongst the private sector.
