If you could have one unreleased PC game RIGHT NOW, what would it be?

Fallout 3, dungeon keeper 3 :)

A man after my own heart!

Along with several that are already mentioned, I'll add Supreme Commander.

Stunt Island 2. Sob.

Why all the love for Hellgate London? If it's along the lines of Diablo wouldn't it become boring? Or have I missed out on a lot of crucial information that will make this game much more appeasing than the regular hack 'n' slash..

Fallout 3, as long as it lives up to the rest of the series.

Huxley.

Damn you VU games, give the rights to Relic!

I concur. Nothing is worse knowing that the reason why a game is not being made is because the IP is being held by another company who does not want to do anything with it.

Another vote for Fallout 3. I had some trepidation about it coming from Bethesda (my only experience with the time was the too-buggy-to-play Daggerfall), but now that Oblivion is here, my fears are gone. Certainly I hope that they nail the atmosphere and dark humor of the series, but I now have a goodly amount of faith.

The Secret of Vulcan Fury (no, I'm not kidding)

Heretic 3

Diablo 3

Yes, please!

Neuromancer 2

The REAL MOO 3 not that horrible pretender

Racing Construction Set 2

Soldier of Fortune 3. I never finish playing through the SOF2's SP but the MP was unbelievably addicting.
Oni 2. Although the environments were pretty blah, I loved the first one.

Rocket Jockey 2: The Rockening

Wow, a lot of sequels in this list.

Mine might not qualify since (AFAIK) there hasn't even been a breath of rumor about it, but I'd really like to see a Battlestar Galactica game set during the first war with the Cylons. And since I'm already setting my sights on something that will probably never get made, I'd like it to have gameplay similar to Tie-Fighter, maybe along with some massive RTS style space battles. Hell, while I'm at it lets throw in a little FPS against some Centurions as well.

And they will call it Grand Theft Galactica.

(Before I say anything, let me state that I agree wholeheartedly with this statement.)

That's ridiculous. Unless the development depends solely on ideas that are protected by copyright, why wouldn't another studio just do it? Change the names to protect the innocent, etc., but make it anyway. There are all those GTA clones out there; why couldn't someone like Black Isle make a post-apocalyptic game with a Fallout feel and call it something else?

Bioshock, hands down.

I forgot about Bioshock. Bioshock, Spore, or Hellgate: London. Any of those three is acceptable.

Spore
Hellgate London
Mechcommander 3
Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries
World of Starcraft
Burning Crusade
Tabula Rasa
Jedi Academy 2
Any successor to the SSI AD&D Goldbox series (or Desert Sun)
Anyone of the 16 or so game designs I have in my journal

Grim Fandango 2. I liked Psychonauts but it doesn't count. Manny!

The original Thief 3 that was in development before Looking Glass went under.

Freespace 3

Welp, there's my list.

BattleTech 3025, by Konami before MSFT squashed it.

Funny, how the gamers mostly say they are sick of sequels and want innovation, while what they really want is a sequel to an outstanding game.

It's probably just because we have had so many good times with the original that we would want that good time again but with new content. But if they release that, we would start moaning that there is too less innovation. So what is it what we want?

I totally agree with Tie-Fighter 2 tho, and maybe just a simple remake at that. Screw innovation, I want to take down star destroyers!

Dragon Age (BioWare's upcoming PC game), The Witcher (just looks cool), and Ascendency II.

The problem for me is that I'm unwilling to take the time to investigate truly new games. For instance, I'm aware of Spore, but I know little about it and probably won't until people here start posting impressions. Sequels are easy to anticipate.

There was actually supposed to be a Full Throttle 2, but the guy who played the voice of Ben in the first 1 died after it was made. There was rumours of a Full Throttle 2, but haven't heard anything lately. Also second the Fallout 3 by BI.

I shall take:

  • One RPG set in the Planescape universe, developed by the Black Isle team that did Planescape: Torment

(I should really get a plaque for my house that reads "Brothel of Sating Intellectual Lust".)

If the magic genie is also supplying a rig to run this unreleased game on I'll ask for Elder Scrolls VIII. If not, Spore.

Baldur's Gate 3: The Black Hound (the one completed by J.E. Sawyer and Black Isle)
BioShock

Freelancer 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Homeworld 3. Any 3d RTS in space (Not dawn of war) by relic would be awesome!

Planescape Torment 2.

A Homeworld esque Dawn of War RTS.
