Happy Presidents Day to all of the Americans who read the site. For those of you lucky enough to have a day off from work I might as well call this "UT2K4 Demo Day" since that what may of you will probably be playing. Since I found UT 2003 to be missing anything really new or compelling it's very nice to see the newest version of Unreal Tournament rolling in with some really solid game types. The retail release can't come soon enough! For many, this week's big game can't come soon enough either as Winning Eleven is fast becoming the soccer game of choice for discerning gamers. On Tuesday, World Soccer Winning Eleven 7 International will ship and sell for $39.99 on the PS2.

Not much for DVDs this week although Little House On The Prairie: Season Four is calling my name!Rise to Honor
Platform: PS2
Ships: Feb 17th
Price: $39.99

The Buzz: A 3rd person action title starring Jet Li as a man who wants out of the underworld of crime and does it the only way he knows how. By going back in. Average reviews, rental.

MX Unleashed
Platform: Xbox, PS2
Ships: Feb 17th
Price: $39.99

The Buzz: Rainbow Studios is back with a new dirt biking game! It doesn't look like there is much in the way of online support although the usual split-screen options are there. The Xbox version supports both 480p and 720p resolutions.

Bond 007: Everything or Nothing
Platforms: Gamecube, PS2, Xbox
Ships: Feb 17th
Price: $49.99

The Buzz: Yet another Bond game. The last couple have been underwhelming so let's hope this one bucks the trend.

Pitfall: The Lost Expedition
Platforms: PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, GBA
Ships: Feb 18th
Price: $29.99 (GBA) $39.99 (Consoles)

The Buzz: Can't say I've really heard much anything about this one, probably not a good sign.

nothing big on the PC...again...

mmm... Winning Eleven 6 showed me a much brighter world of soccer sims outside of EA's FIFA series. Definitely planning on picking that up. Rise to Honor looks about as entertaining as eating the crud I swept off my patio this morning. That controller setup sounds nightmareish.

*edited to remove the shocking appearance of the heretofore unknown word 'mucher' from this post*

The most exciting thing on that list is The Little House on the Prarie Season Four. *sigh*

I still think the mom on that show was hot.

You mean I missed the previous three seasons of "The Little House on the Prarie"? Well, Crap!

Alright Winning Eleven. This series is so much better than EA's FIFA its not even funny. This one is actually fun to play unlike FIFA. Anyone remotely interested in soccer should pick this one up. Cheap too!

"Reservior Dogs" again? I thought the rainbow-brite versions were the end.

The Buzz: Yet another Bond game. The last couple have been underwhelming so let's hope this one bucks the trend.

8.8 from G-Spot...

I forget, what did the last two get?

I think Agent Under Fire was anywhere from 60% - 80% while Nightfire did better and averaged around 80%. I never found them all that compelling though and obviously my opinion rules over everyone else's.

Seconded. Best Sports Game available on any console, period. The beautiful game's worth playing, if you're willing to learn.

Actually, I think anyone who's remotely interested in sports games in general should give this one a try. It's pure gameplay beauty and you don't really have to be a soccer fan to enjoy it.

Just saw a commercial for Runaway Jury. It looks decent, I might need to pick it up, the book was ok.

Ninja Gaiden is delayed again...

Shame Winning Eleven 7 doesn't have the image of Pierluigi Collina that the European release did. Now THAT is one scary dude.
