Congratulations To Our Drive Winners!

Section:

The live show is done and the winners of the 2009 GWJ donation drive have been selected. Congratulations to all of our lucky winners this year and thank you very much for all your support! As mentioned in the original thread, the winners pick their prize in order of names drawn. If a winner decides he/she does not want a prize, we also drew a couple alternates just in case.

Bad Mojo was even listening in to the live show and heard his name called. Awesome.

Bad Mojo (Video Card)
Fripper (PSP Go)
Johny Polite (Sander Cohen Statue)
Snooglebum (Free Game)
Zyblorg (Free Game)
MyBrainHz (SOAP)
---
Runner ups: Sparhawk and Merzy

Make your choices known in the thread below (in order please) and PM Elysium your shipping information or email it to [email protected].

Should we tell everyone that I've already won the prize?

Nope. You've gotta let their hopes rise more before you hurl them cruelly into the depths of failure.

If *Legion* wins, I'm boycotting the rest of the show.

If he wins, lets drive down there and shave off the rest of his hair.

Would just like to let everyone know about the unofficial IRC channel (link to thread with info on IRC) or just click the link in my signature to join us. UStream chat has a very low cap but we don't.

The IRC channel is great and really fun.... plus the people who go there are also awesome. Even Rabbit has dropped by, though that pesky Elysium never did.... just goes to show who's hot and who's not

[edit] After being asked to clarify why the IRC channel is good for talking:

a) There's no registration required
b) When you ask a person directly (using their username in your question) it highlights it
c)It's a larger chat window than the UStream one which can make it easier to read, IMO.

Sadly, I will be unable to attend tonight as I have prior engagements.

However, I'm sure you'll make up for it by inserting the Sander Cohen song in as many times as possible.

Just how many RabbitCons are there!?

d) You can stay logged in with irssi inside a screen session, and reconnect to the screen session on whatever you're computing on.

d) (i) I'm not a nerd so i would never think to list that for people who are just joining for the evening :p

Why does it have to be at the same time as the LSU game?

and by thinking cap, do we mean caps lock?!

Why does it ask me to log in every time I try to enter anything? I already logged in, as "Lobster Mobster."

Another reason to like IRC, I guess.

EDIT: Seriously, could someone help me? I'm quickly running out of what patience I've allocated for this particular activity.

EDIT EDIT: And no one is responding to my private messages so I'm guessing that doesn't actually work.

Come join us. I would point out you can watch the live stream without having to use their chat.

All right... thanks. I'm not messing with UStream anymore. Either its software is terrible or mine is.

Umm. When should I start seeing something in the UStream window?

Hmm... Not seeing the live stream.

It's been 8:00 PM for like ten seconds!

Of course it's RabbitCon. Drunkeness may not be conducive to live streaming.

I'm #6! I'm #6!

Why weren't you on Steam so I could congratulate you? :p

Gratz to all the winners. Glad to see some familiar names.

Looks like UStream wasn't working for me because I had a space in my username.

A big thanks to Lobster for totally letting the random number generator fall in my direction.

I'm still flummoxed.

I can't type in the chat and I'm too lazy to make an account. In past live shows I could type no problem.

I can't afford to leave behind patterns. Not at this stage in my plans. Enjoy.

I missed the winners, anyone got a list?

I didn't even know this was going on until now!

So what did I win?

Congrats to whoever the winners are (too busy to listen live).

I'm assuming I'm not one because this is a raffle, and I've never won a raffle in my entire life.

I'm convinced now more than ever that we need a type of Rabbitcon out west here.

Some of the winners were in there! Sadly, I was not one of them. But congrats to the winners and their (dubious) winnings!

I've been planning on something similar, but I have a small house and couldn't accommodate that many folks staying over. But a few friends are talking about doing something big in the March-ish time frame. I'll ping you direct if/when the details start emerging.
