Post a picture, entertain me!

I don't know why, but that marmaduke comic just made me lose it.

It's because you hate Marmaduke, just like me, and you want to see the comic finally end. I think this strip would be an appropriate way for it to go.

EDIT: Flickr doesn't do image hosting

is this the longest evar post on gwj?

I hereby present you with screencaps from a movie with 80's action star Cynthia Rothrock. Why ? There is no why.

Apparently, I'm not very good at this 'interweb' thing. Here is a link while I try to get the image to work.

I'm still not seeing it.

Fixed my post above, and here's another.

Off the top of my head, I'd say the one about the box in Sway's attic has this beat. And probably the one about Kingdom of Loathing tops even that.

Ya I'm almost positive the KoL post is the longest. It was 30 pages long.

Maybe it's just me, but that guy in the last strip of the Marmaduke comic... kinda looks like he's got boobs.

That Marmaduke comic looks like it was made by the same guy who did the insane death Captain America one. Very amusing, and disturbing, stuff

I have to say though, at the moment, georob's Jesus/ghostbuster one wins!

I second the Ghostbuster sentiment!

On a completely weird note: My Girlfriend swears up and down that she saw the Ghostbuster mobile driving through Omaha last night. Emblems, sirens and all. Our current theories include "Car Convention in Town," "Filming the Sequel," "Genetically Modified Corn Disturbing the Etheral Planes and causing a Nexus Event."

I believe there were several of these created for the movie(s), and a number of them were given away in various contests. Someone in my neighborhood won one and tooled around in it for years. On a related note, I saw the Back to the Future car driving on the highway in KC the other day. If it wasn't one of the DeLoreans actually used in the movie, it was a really faithful recreation....you could even see the flux capacitor through the rear window.

Here's one I made myself last night.

Funny thing is, you guys were talking about them and then suddenly today I see one on the way back from lunch. Looked to be in bad shape though: the body was kinda brownish, as if very dirty or rusting (which would be pretty sad for stainless steel!).

which would be pretty sad for stainless steel

Well, since stainless steel can only rust if it comes in contact with other rust from another metal it's not that bad.

Here's a composite photo I made yesterday from 5 shots of my neighbors dog, Dexter, catching a Frisbee. Thought you might like to see it.

nice pic there marsman, but the "leftmost-dog" looks like he missed the frisby

edit:that "FU" pic of the cat is really neat. Was it just a side effect of the cat scratching its nose?

Please delete my other post, sorry for the trouble again

Those were the actual shots of him catching the Frisbee, my camera can take 5 quick shots in succession. That's just what it looks like.

I'm still waiting for the time lapse T-rex attack.

Marsman that is some top notch work. Did you have the camera on a tripod? Are the dogs added to the shot, or were you able to merge all of the shots together? That kind of stuff really makes me want to spend some time with photoshop.

oh and here is a tasteless counter to your artsy stuff

It was 5 separate shots that I chopped into one blank frame. The shots were hand-held. I used Photo Studio 5 (came with my canon scanner) to compile them. I have Photo shop 7, but don't know how to use it as well.

I love doing this kind of stuff. Some other work I've done:

Dam Dogs

Shearly Surreal

ok fine...heading outside to get some burst shot samples...have to see if I can reproduce that

thanks for the idea!

Not if dog and frisbee are both moving to the right.
