Gotta love Mrs. Reynolds :)

I'd hit it.

1024x768 you bastage. When not hooked up to my 18" LCD, that is the max this laptop will display!

Thanks Spy, now the 3rd page will also be gargantuan. I bite my thumb at thee good sir, and thumb my nose. In that order.

That's why I never kiss em on the mouth.

Take me, Captain. Take me hard.

Just finished 'Trash'. And you all are right, War Stories is great.

I also like Objects in Space.

This one has my vote. Shows just how wacky River is and just how talented she is. War Stories with a close second. third goes to the Message one. Damn is Rev. Book doesn't intrigue the hell out of me. Wonder if they can somehow explain his story arc. *sigh* Damn I hated all the killing of characters in the movie. Makes me wonder about the 'what if' scenarios.

CEJ, dude. Some people in here (not me, I'm just saying..) haven't seen the movie yet

How to ruin Christmas, CEJ. Thanks. If I could, I'd kill you with my brain.

Yeah I was about tto say the same thing. Let's keep in mind that this thread was started by someone who is still watching Firefly and is looking forward to watching Serenity.

Hurray...I, for once, didn't spoil anything about Serenity!

CEJ and his silly jokes, there's none of that in the movie Marsman. Some people are just sick!

I, too, am jealous of Marsman and his brand new love of Firefly, experiencing it all for the first time, I still remember my first time...sigh...having said that, I caught an episode on Sci Fi the other night (Train Job) and I was a happy, happy girl. Since I never got around to buying the DVD's, that's the only thing I mentioned when Mom asked what I wanted for Christmas, I'm looking forward to viewing it all over again.

SillyRabbit FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, @Quentin Stone, I lol'ed. Add me to the list of fervent admirers of Mrs. Reynolds. I think I read somewhere that she's gay, though, so Firefly re-runs are as close as I'll ever get.

I almost cropped that picture down to Fillion's face for an avatar. Almost.

<-- You had your chance! Now its mine wahaaaa......

On the yahoo sight where you can view trailers they have a 21 minute feature for Serenity that features a few behind the scenes interactions. Pretty awesome and they keep talking about how Nathan Fillion made the job incredibly enjoyable.

Btw, I've got Serenity as a maybe on my Xmas list this year. Only thing holding me back from asking for it is the possibility of a Special Edition DVD.

Anyone heard any rumors of a second release with any extra footage/director's commentary? If not it's on the list.

The dvd being released now has deleted scenes and commentary tracks on it, so I suspect not. At the very least the regular one is not a rip-off.

Roger that, I'll let the fiancee know that she can add this to my list then.

Speaking of non-ripoff editions, I think the GOOD version of Sin City came out this week...?

Me too.

Man, I loved Saffron. What a great villian, played to perfection by Christina Hendricks. She might have been my favorite of the non-regular characters on that show.

I thought she was the most physically attractive on the show, which is saying something since the other actresses are not exactly hard to look at. She did a good switch between innocence and evil, even in Trash after you knew what she was really all about.

oh I dunno about that

I do know my bible, sir. On the night of their betrothal the wife shall open to the man as the furrow to the plow. He shall work in her again and again, til she bring him to his full. And rest him then upon the sweat of her breast.

That's good Bible!

Bring him to his FALL, dog, bring him to his FALL. If they stopped at FULL, that would be a pretty crummy agricultural experience.

PS Everyone knows that's no more from the Bible than Pulp Fiction's version of Ezekiel 25:17, right?

I always assumed that is from that planet's version of the bible. You know, with the rainstick and all I didn't really expect them to be following modern day christianity or catholicism.
