Um, actually.... in 1977 it was already "a long time ago."

Oy, too soon.

46 years 7 months since it happened....

...and here I thought it was A Long Time Ago.

Edit: haha I didn't notice there was a reply on the next page!

What if I didn't like it as an adult because it was too much of a departure from the 2D ones I was used to? We must be "already dead" according to this comic.

Edit: clarity

Is today the day I learned that Dr Crusher f*cked a ghost?

Not just any ghost, the ghost that had been preying on the women in her family for 20 generations.

Wow are you justifying my staunch indifference to everything Trek.

The later TNG seasons are generally pretty good but, yes, this would be an exception to the "pretty good" part of that.

There is a reason that episode gets made fun on so often.

Still a blast to watch for that very reason.

Dinnae light that caaaandle!

I don't get it.

I'm just trying to imagine how the heck that happened.

It probably started with "hold my beer".

I assume, due to malfunction or mistake, the trailer was fully up while they drove and it was just higher than the sign.

Imagine that trailer being towed at 60 down the highway. Now it comes loose from it's tractor. That sucker is going somewhere. If it turns, there's a good chance it rolls, and if it rolls there's a good chance it flips. It's gonna end up on one of it's six sides once it stops tumbling, which the highway sign apparently assisted with.

Most likely, as it looks like the hitch broke free on the tractor end, that big-ass dangling hitch dug into the road and the entire thing got airborne and flipped over it.
