Help me find a good controller for PC gaming

The XBOX controller I've been using for years and years died this evening, so I find myself in need of a replacement. Anyone have a specific controller they've found especially good for PC gaming?

I have a Razer Wolverine V2 that works really well. Same basic layout as an Xbox controller but it has a couple extra buttons. The Start and Select buttons are also placed a bit differently than on an Xbox controller and IMO are more comfortable, but it takes a while to get used to their placement if you’re accustomed to the Xbox layout.

When I lost my xbox controller I replaced it with PS5 controller. I also have a cheap logitech F310 wired controller. I don't have a xbox or PS5 but I like both controller about evenly for the PC.

The textured grips sure look nice. That might be what I go with...

Update. I did wind up getting a Razer Wolverine V2.

This is a nice piece of hardware. Feels really sturdy, I love the textured grips as I was hoping I would, and it's nice and responsive. Good recommendation; thank you!

I've stuck with Xbox controllers over the years. The current Xbox Series controllers look and feel great, and there are a ton of color options available, plus the ability to completely customize your own if you're willing to pay for it.
