Trailer Catch All

Oh. I really enjoyed playing an Onimusha though I don't remember which it was. This looks amazing.

(Kim Jung Gi, who did character design, passed away a couple months ago.)

I love Rhys Darby

OMG that looks phenomenal.

I’ll watch anything with Sam Rockwell in it.

That's what I told my wife when I showed her the trailer. His presence on a cast list makes any movie a must-see for me!

That looks AMAZING!

guess this means we won't be seeing Scalzi's book on screen...

This is the Pain (MGS3) movie I never knew I wanted.

"Honey?"

"It's flammable As F@#$. Who knew?"

That made me chuckle..

I'm a middle aged semi-rural white beekeeper (see the beekeeping thread) with a US gov background and this kind of thing just doesn't seem like the right way forward. I know the whole vigilante power fantasy "go outside the law to protect the hive" thing is a fundamental staple of superhero stories, but this one really pushed my buttons the wrong way.

Hives burn like crazy because of all the wax in them. Honey is usually 16-19 percent water and won't burn until the water is substantially boiled out. I just did a test. I spread a bit of honey (very thick, very low water content, not the runny stuff you get in a store) on a paper towel and set it alight. The honey soaked paper did not burn at all. Nor was there any wicking effect like you get from oil soaked paper. Pacific Rim helicopters carrying mechas level stupidity.

FTFY... pretty sure not a single political party has the corner on power fantasy films. I'm also pretty sure nothing in Statham's catalog comes close to being 'based on a true story'... Maybe one or two if any and that none of them would be said to be scientifically accurate.

But also Fury...

Writer of Training Day. He did some good things.

Beekeeper seems one of those "it's so bad it's good" movies.

Wonka | Trailer #2

See, now that looks like a much better origin story then needed to know how the hunger games president toward into a evil corrupted villian.

I’ll watch more of that. It was worth pressing on with that series after a friend insisted it was great.

This trailer has me more hyped for this project than the clip that had previously circulated of Ramona delivering to Wallace & Scott's apartment. Hoping the longer format allows them to skew closer to the graphic novels' story, which the movie effectively diverges from after the Todd/Clash at Demonhead fight.
