Thanks for the discussion on Diablo I have stepped back from other games based on problems I had with the company or creator but have probably been unthinking in buying Diablo day 1. I maybe need to consider more carefully in the future.
Yeah, it's tough. From the sound of things it pivoting to some places that I'm less interested in (leaning more toward being a Destiny-style forever game, etc.) but, like many toxic companies, I think they rely on waiting out bad news cycles instead of addressing problems. In an odd way I'm glad Kotick let the mask slip this week in his bizarre attempt to blame unions for his own toxicity, and hopefully it will remind people that this company is deeply bad.
I have all the support in the world for the folks who work there and, like we said on the podcast, bear no ill will toward anyone who dips in - it isn't a Hogwart's situation, but playing an Blizzard/Activision game would be extremely distracting right now (at least for me) and take away any ability to enjoy the thing.

I have to give a loving shout out to my entire GWJOW crew, who over the past seven years have saved my life, been amazing friends and confidants, and made me a better person through their patience, kindness, and wisdom. Better gamer? Well... I don't know that I play better but I certainly enjoy it more.
