Command & Conquer Remastered Collection $3 on Steam. Think it has been this price a bunch of times but I just bought it. All the C&C and Red Alert games with DLC remastered to work on modern PCs. Why doesn't Kane age?

Some good memories in there but I recently tried to replay some of them through the open source engine OpenRA and the gameplay didn't age well even with some modern enhacements...

Man I remember some of those hard levels that just had constraints to unfun.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate free on Epic. Not sure if the DLC are any good as I had the original when it was $5 on Steam one time and never got extras

Puy in over one thousand hours on it and the dlc. DLC is mostly not anything to write home about except the last one Lonesome Road which is like part of the story.

Fanatical has Warhammer: Total War III as the Daily Deal for $31.19. I may finally bite, after much hemming and hawing.

Thank you, Chad

Jupiter Hell is ok, but it is very tough. IMO Doom roguelike is a better all around game and it's even free.

Which DOOM is this?

I used to really like these strategy/4X types of games when I was younger. Now... I've bounced off every single one that I've tried over the past few years. I have both 1 and 2 in my library. I had read about the availability of the massive Mortal Empires if you have all 3 in the same location which makes me consider it then I remember...

I get sucked into the reviews talking about the narrative/story, and then get plunked into the learning curve and never get past it.

Case in point:

Warhammer 1- playtime: 22 minutes
Warhammer 2- playtime: 6.3 hrs (I don't think that time is accurate, seemed much less)
Endless Legend- playtime: 66 minutes
Fallen Enchantress- playtime: 3.7 hrs
Sins of a Solar Empire- playtime: 91 minutes

JC - I am in the same boat.

Fixture is running a 20% off coupon code this weekend on their website. FIXTURE20

The S1 has gotten decent praise around here and I mostly like mine. There's an OLED system specific model, too.

Dang yeah I just got the S2 with my Zelda OLED system. Couldn't wait for a sale, had to play Zelda

While I have gotten into Sins and Stellaris, I did have trouble getting into Warhammer 2 and Endless Legend, two games I thought I would have no trouble diving into. Add to that AoW3 and AoW: Planetfall. Very depressing...I feel as if I'm not trying hard enough. But I really don't think I'm getting the dopamine hits I require, and so I turn to a game guaranteed to give me those hits.

Epic has a sale and their 25% off stuff over $15 coupon. With it I was able to rationalize the new Saints Row for just over $20. Having spent the last 20 hours on another run through SR4 most of it without putting on my headphones and having fun I'm apparently in a pretty tolerant mood.

Honestly I found all the endless series and AoW to be rather mediocre grand strategy games. And I love that genre.

I got it for around the same price in the Christmas sale, and that seemed about right to me. The writing is so intensely, suffocatingly stupid, but if you get through it the actual game feels like good old SR shenanigans.

How do you guys like fixture? Better than Hori Split Pad Pros?

I never tried any joycon replacement / add-on products. I had one other item like the Fixture S1, but it was discontinued before mine broke. The Fixture has been pretty good. I try to keep the controller in it because it snaps in so tight, most report scratching. I've only had mine for less than a year now, but it's been ok so far. Everything fits secure and snug.

This.... I have some Endless Space / Legend / Galactic Empires / Crusader Kings and it just doesn't scratch the itch. Seems like an age thing. But somehow the description of paradox games compell totally to me - while the games self can't catch me.

Yeah, Old World for me. This should be right up my alley but I just can't get into it.

There's a lot more discussion in the Nintendo Switch thread.

For me the Hori were good for 90% of games. But no motion aiming was annoying in BotW and Splatoon. And no amiibo support also was a pain for BotW and a handful of other games.

Hori back buttons are really nice.

I had 2 pro controllers already so the wife and I could both use one for Mario Kart, so fixture just went on mine and stays there

Castlevania ii Simon's Quest Remake is a free fan made game. Might be hard to find but if you do find it the game looks very good.

I need to give a shout-out to RozzBozzy who made an incredible new Enduro.
Best of all, RE-ENDURO is free!
Good stuff.

Looks like a big PSN sale going.
Horizon FW PS4 version is $30 and there's still a free upgrade to PS5.
Deathloop down to a new low of $15.
GoW Ragnarok to $45
Etc.

Midnight Ghost Hunt free at Epic.

Not really sure what it is...

PS+ subscriptions are also on sale, in case you need to renew soon.

If I had any chance of playing with a group of people that wouldn't annoy me, it looks like it would be a really fun game based on the trailer.

Just got Mortal Kombat 11 and Injustice 2 with a buttload of DLC for $10 on Xbone, and I paid for it with Microsoft Rewards, so basically free.

It's 90% off right now, I was a bit surprised how much it was if the bundle wasn't on sale.

Guacamelee 1 and 2 free on Epic. Surely you already have these Metroidvania gems. But if not, get them and play! So very good.

Sweet thanks!

2 free games on Epic this week. Both are repeats.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms
theHunter: Call of the Wild

Prime subscribers can claim codes for NeverWinter Nights Enhanced and Prey on GoG.

Onto the pile they go.
