I totally lost it.

All I really need is a premiere date for the next set of Prodigy episodes.

Simka!

WARP, LILLIAN

Figures she of all people would become a miracle worker, right?

I swear, the first planet they go to better be Titus Andromedon.

So I ended up giving Strange New Worlds a second go and ended up absolutely loving it after I gave it a chance. It was a wonderful season and I look forward to more of it.

My brother said I might like season 2 of Discovery as well. I'm watching Season 2, episode 1 and it's really really really hyperactive. Where Strange New Worlds feels paced more closely to TOS this episode cranks everything up to 100 every single minute. Is Discovery always like this?

That is very much how I remember s2 of Discovery, which almost put me off the show. There is stuff to like, but that hyperactive (JJ-esque) aspect of it just isn't what I look for in Trek. It's still pretty frenetic, but I feel like it settled into itself a bit more over the course of seasons 3 and 4 (the latter in particular), and I've been enjoying it.

Gotta add, the latest episode (e5) of Lower Decks has probably been one of my favorites so far. Boimler going ape***t gets infinite points for being hilarious and right at the same time.

Discovery is def a different format. It can almost be looked at like the Marvel and SW seasons where it is mostly a continuous story.

SNW Season 2 premiering June 15th and renewed for Season 3. Also Lower Decks Season 4 and Prodigy Season 2 coming later this year.

No renewal announcement for Prodigy has me a might worried, but yay for more Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks!

Prodigy Season 2 is said to be 20 episodes which probably means it'll be split across this year and next year like last time.

Sigh, fine.

Yay! I loved the first season. I hope this one is as good.

OMG YUS

I assume they resolve the issue of Una Chin-Riley being taken away because of gene manipulation in the first episode since she is so prevalent in the trailer?
