I forgot the Yakuza games were on Game Pass. I wonder how well it would play remote on the Steam Deck?

I don't know about remote play, but I can tell you that Yakuza 0 rules on the Steam Deck and is absolutely worth that $4.99.

To tempt you more during the steam sale

The Best Games Under $10 in the Steam Spring Sale

Pretty good list. I am quite tempted by Yakuza 0 - $4.99

There's some really good games on there. Some of the smaller you might have not played ones:

Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition - Really good emotional game. Felt a little grindy but has some real weight to it.
Yoku's Island Express - Was free on epic but if you missed it. It's pinball mixed with metroid and cute as a button.
Sayonara Wild Hearts - Fun musical action runner. Talked about it before but had a good time playing it. And has a nice little story.
A Short Hike - Think this was also free epic but if you missed it. Fun sweet little game.

Sun Haven (pixel high fantasy Stardew Valley with up to 8 co-op) just left early access and is 20% off.

Probably grabbing 3 copies (one for me and the two kids).

Just picked up Sun Haven as well. Good so far. My son and I also picked up Necesse, which is like top-down Terraria with some Terraria mixed in. It's 33% off and only $7

Chess Ultra is free on Epic. Also one of the DLCs for it is free.

Sludge Life is free on Steam. Has been free on Epic before. A fun exploration game with an interesting setting.

SLUDGE LIFE is a first-person / open-world / vandalism-centric stroll through a polluted island full of cranky idiots and a vibe so thick you can taste it.

Can't say I've ever read a description like that before!

Twitch prime had a bunch of weekly games added to claim:

I am Fish
Adios
Faraway: Arctic Escape
Book of Demons
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind
City Legends: Trapped in Mirror Collector's Edition (via Legacy Games)

If (like me) you enjoy boomer shooters the new Humble Bundle may interest you. 3 of these were on my wishlist already. Many seem to work on Steam Deck.

Nightmare Reaper
Deadlink
Graven
Wrath: Aeon of Ruin
Forgive Me Father
Viscerafest
The Citadel
Impaler

Can confirm that those are pretty fantastic shooters. I'm a particular fan of Nightmare Reaper, but they're all great.

An adventure game called The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is out for free on Steam today.

Polygon Article about it.

Free on EPIC:

Dying Light (Enhanced)
Shapez

EDIT: Looks like Dying Light has a bunch of free DLC. But pretty much all the paid DLC is also on sale for 50% off. Or the Definitive Edition upgrade is 70% off for all of it. Hm.

I've had a lot of fun with Shapez (formerly called shapez.io).

The dev aimed for a light homage to Factorio with a shallow learning curve. I think he achieved that goal nicely.

Lost Odyssey is on sale on the Xbox store for $6.25. It’s a fantastic jrpg

Thanks. I've always heard great things about Lost Odyssey. I'll check it out for that price.

Edit: Nevermind... Apparently, I already own it!

It's Thursday. Free Epic games. But the one in Early Access is a repeat.

Free Prime Gaming games have been updated recently too, including one of the newer Wolfenstein games, with GOG key

Desktop Someone free on Steam for 2 more hours.

Then Desktop Dungeons Rewind releases. If I understand it right owning the first gets you the second for free too?

What is a good site that crawls to find the best deal on a game at any given time? My google-fu fails me today...

https://isthereanydeal.com/ for PC games

https://www.dekudeals.com/ for Switch, and it's adding PS5/Xbox lists too.

Before deku added PS5 I used https://psprices.com/ and it's pretty good.

I believe Rewind is only free if you had actually purchased Desktop Dungeons previously. Claiming DD for free doesn't get you Rewind.

Correct. An article I saw yesterday seemed to miss that point. Ah well I got the old one free. Looks interesting enough to try.

I played the original back in it's heyday, and Rewind has me starting over, and I've gotta say, it's proof what a solid game it was, given that the remaster is just a shiny coat of paint and the core mechanics are unchanged. Really, really enjoyable game.

Just FYI this seems to be free for several more days, not 2 hours from that post. It said April 25th on the store page.

Newegg has a $100 Xbox digital gift card for $90 with the code SSCR2625

I’m going to combine this with my 10% discount on EA games from game pass to pick up Jedi Survivor cheaper

FYI that is a pretty normal deal if you have a Costco membership. I always see $100 for $90 cards in the store for Xbox and Nintendo. Not sure about Playstation as I haven't looked at those lately.

Yeah I need one for PSN. Or just a discount for one year of PS+ essential if anyone sees a reliable one.

Mine expired and I need to renew in the next few weeks to get May games

I checked, $100 for $90:
