Video Game Deals Catch-All

Nintendo eShop cards $50 for $40 at Costco. Membership required.

Looks like it's still live until Mar 6

Phantom Brigade just launched. Big mechs and time dilation. 20% off, possibly as the early reviews including RPS are somewhat critical of the game. Would be interested to know if anyone took the plunge.

Humble has a collection of 72 games available for Earthquake Relief in Turkey. $30 minimum, includes Gotham Knights and Ghostrunner.

There's a solid pc demo. Found it interesting but didn't really grab me sadly.

Free on Prime Gaming:
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Space Crew: Legendary Edition

Free on Epic:
Rise of Industry

In anticipation of the launch of its sequel, Figment is free on Steam. It's a fun and cute little game definitely worth a few hours as long as you don't expect a big challenge.

Midnight Suns is priced very nicely - $26.10 on GreenMan Gaming. It is quite worth it.

SMT V half price at Amazon

Solid game, and probably the most friendly introduction to SMT. Would recommend!

Quick edit: Just be aware that it's not a game you really play for story. The story IS there, but it takes a backseat to the mechanics and vibes.

Super... Mutant........ Turtles. Consider me intrigued
(apparently its Shin Magami Tensei, never been exposed to it)

The complete edition is $42 while the season pass itself is $43.

Wonder if you can buy the whole thing and apply to steam instead of just season pass

They are all steam keys so yes, you can redeem everything on Steam.

And now the 2nd Mario Rabbids game is half price too

Final 3DS sales starting. Ace Attorney games are 90% off.

Store closes at the end of the month

Call of the Sea free on Epic. Also an end of winter sale. No, not a spring sale. Hah

Ys VIII is on super sale right now, down to $12, on Green Man Gaming and Fanatical, which is by far the lowest price yet.

Resident Evil Gold Edition is at its historical low on Steam right now. Low enough that I finally picked it up. Happy to say it plays really well on Steam Deck so far.

Edit: looks like it’s also on deep sale on Xbox and PlayStation digital stores.

Also, side note, the demo for Resident Evil 4 remake came out yesterday on Steam.

I've never played a Ys game. Is this a good entry point?

I had never played one either and it was great for me. I didn't feel like there was anything I was missing about the characters.

Agreed, the adventure is quite standalone. Some very minor references to 1 or 2 previous games, but they're in the realm of fun easter egg rather than is needed to make the story make sense.

Both Ori games lowest price ever on Switch eShop. Loved the first, need to play the second

Got on that! Digital Foundry showed that Moon studios did some magic to make it run smoothly and still look gorgeous on the Switch.

Looks like they are on sale on Steam as well. I'm tempted to double dip.

Steam's Spring Sale is up

I picked up two

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - $15.99
Jade Empire: Special Edition - $3.74

I was just about to buy Dead Space 2023 at full price so yeah I’ll happily take 15% off. Grabbing a couple indie games I recently wish-listed as well.

I was surprised to see Steam Deck get a discount for the first time.

The one game of note for me is Nier Automata as it has been almost 12 full months since it's been on sale on PC, and just as long as I said to myself I would pick it up the next time it went on sale, assuming it would be no later than the 2022 Summer Sale.

Don't forget to use is there any deal. Or enhanced Stream browser plug-in that does it for you.

Quite often sale games are still cheaper at GMG, Fanatical, Humble, etc. for the same Steam keys.

Finally got Chrono Trigger for $7.50. Never played it...looking forward to it.

To tempt you more during the steam sale

The Best Games Under $10 in the Steam Spring Sale

Pretty good list. I am quite tempted by Yakuza 0 - $4.99

You'd be better off joining Game Pass for a month to get it for $1

I forgot the Yakuza games were on Game Pass. I wonder how well it would play remote on the Steam Deck?

There are just too many games in the world.
