Video Game Deals Catch-All

Nice find, thank you.

It gets better: There is also an upgrade edition for $8 if you already own the base game. I'll never get around to playing it, but when has that stopped me?

Edit: I don't think this is right; the one I linked seems to be only High Isle but not the previous chapters. The one you probably want is the High Isle plus all previous chapters, the one merphle linked.

In summary: Please ignore me, as usual.

Temping but I'm in the same boat. Will probably never get around to playing that. I think I stopped somewhere around when Morrorwind expansion came out. But I think I have the next one that came out after that but never got around to playing.

ESO it actually a decent game and put a lot of time in to it but no way am I going to play through all those expansion areas.

Nintendo doing their online vouchers again. $100 for 2 games.

Obviously better to use on something brand new (Fire Emblem Engage), or a preorder. Something that hasn't been on sale for less than $50 yet

I'd like confirmation it will work for Zelda sequel this year and I'll happily find another game.

I have been playing ESO for 40/50 hours every couple of years and upgrade when I know I am ready for the new areas. There is quite a bit of free content on there as well as the dungeons that require buddying up. I only play solo though.

Free on Epic this week: City of Gangsters & Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

Free next week: Recipe for Disaster

Did they ever work out the micromanagement in City of Gangsters?

New Feb prime free stuff is up. Morrowind on GoG and some other stuff, which is mostly repeats.

But now it says "weekly games" so I guess they are dropping new ones every week of the month now? Going to be like Epic, trying to check in and grab free stuff every week I guess.

Free on Epic this week: Recipe for Disaster

Free next week: Warpips

And two more weekly free from Prime Gaming

Aerial Knight's Never Yield
DKO Divine Knockout (Epic)

Terra Invicta at 20% off? How is it shaping up so far?

They're a thread for it. TL:DR it's good but not done baking yet.

Worth playing now if you are into the concept and want to get into the system. It's between Crusader Kings 3 and Hearts of Iron IV in complexity, so there's a learning curve, oh my yes, but the payoff is very nice (so far) even in Early Access.

Marvel's Midnight Suns (Steam) $29.15 via Gamebillet w/ Code: 2023GB5 .

Well worth it!

Agreed

Woot! has new (as opposed to refurbished) Switch OLED models for $330, which is a $20 discount. Special editions already sold out.

There's an interesting Build Your Own Steam VR bundle on Fanatical at the moment:
2 for $20
3 for $28
5 for $40

Skyrim VR
Fallout 4 VR
Mothergunship Forge
Battle Group VR
cyubeVR
Cosmodread
Arizona Sunshine Deluxe Edition
All-In-One Sports VR
I Expect You to Die
SuperHot VR
RagnaRock
Sairent VR
Synth Riders
Vinyl Reality
Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu
Unplugged Air Guitar + Riff Pack
Cave Digger 2 Dig Harder

I already have a few of these, but I'm seriously considering throwing Skyrim, I Expect you, Vinyl, Dragon Fist, and Unplugged onto the pile for safe keeping.

Edit: There was a lunar sale discount that knocked another $4 off and after spending more time researching than this decision needed I confirmed that just over $7 for each title is lower than my impulse threshold. On the pile they go! (along with a $2 mystery bundle add-on that netted me a Planet Coaster and a Payday 2 license. *shrug*)

I expect you to die is a ton of fun. Pretty much a once and done game. It's a good one to introduce people to VR to as well.

Woot is sold out on the Switch OLEDs.

Fanatical's Prestige Bundle is pretty insane if you don't already own the games on offer. I'm getting Doom: Eternal, Roguebook, Fallout 4: GOTY, and Curse of the Dead Gods for $7.24 each. Yes, I'll need some Doom: Eternal DLC, but this is pretty good, methinks.

For those of you that don't have Gamepass, Age of Empires IV is $24 on Steam AND is having a free to play weekend. It was my favorite game last year and the best RTS in years.

Gah! I bought it a month or so ago and have yet to really dig in. And I'm an obsessive Ager!

Hah, play it! The optional "history channel" tidbits are a nice touch too.

Demon's Tilt on Xbone is $5.99, I didn't check if it was a gold sale or an overall sale. Cool retro pinball.

Fun game. Reminds me of the old pinball games I played a lot on TurboGrafx-16 forever ago (Alien Crush mostly).

Pretty sure it was free on Epic at some point as I own it there already. It used to be on Xbox Game Pass but isn't anymore.

Good timing on this deal. Just gifted it to my dad.
