I'm getting more of a Dragon's Dogma Gran Soren vibe from it.

The cat's not going to swallow plastic. The problem is the grocery bag is f*cking noisy!

One of the reasons I decided to hook up all my old consoles again. Though I guess I could get the iso for the PS1 core on MiSTer as well.

No lie, that is one of the 2 codes I have for Windows XP. The other starts with "V7WHJ".

Windows on 6 floppy disks old.

That was the code for XP. It always worked.

If you shrank the Solar System to the size of Texas, the Houston metro area would be smaller than a grasshopper in Dallas.

I'm about that old too.

I'm not quite that old. Close, though!

Yep, this is the first copy of a video game I remember owning:

Our first computer games were cartridge and cassette.

But our first console was Pong.

I asked for an Atari 2600 for Christmas for more than six months, not realizing that of course my mom had probably bought it, like, two months into this campaign.

The Sears branded version was like $10 cheaper, and came with a different game. And...yeah. Do not remember if i was successfully cool about it.

Played Pong at a neighbors. My single mom managed the Sears brand above, and eventually a Commodore 64, which she did not realize needed a disk drive. And games. Thankfully, I eventually got the drive (See NSMike above) AND I had an older friend who was a [CLEVELAND].

Spoiler:

Do we have to not mention games copied in 1985?

My mom got us that same Sears-branded Atari console.

Before that I had this:

I also upgraded to a C64 a few years later. It took a while after that to save up for the disc drive, though.

Ha, that gun... Definitely from a different era. No orange cap on the barrel.
