NFL 2022: The playoffs thread

I just want to see the 49ers leading in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl; Kyle Shanahan is about to call yet another innovative pass play, and one of his assistants hits him in the back of the head with a folding chair, picks up the play call sheet, and actually calls a goddamn run up the middle. 49ers win!

If only there was someone I trust to swing the chair at Harbaugh.

I volunteer to swing the chair.

Ravens and Chargers are both looking to interview Rams QB coach/passing game coordinator Zac Robinson for their OC jobs.

I'll always remember Zac Robinson as the Oklahoma State QB for whom Bobby Reid was benched, which triggered the stories about Reid that then triggered:

Ooh, some more Zach Wilson slander:

Zach is officially Trevor Lawrence's Ryan Leaf.

He has that dog in him. Problem is that dog flunked obedience school.

The Cowboys are sticking with Maher at kicker.

You don't need to kick PATs if you just go for two!

Doh I got tricked by the "coverage begins at 3" instead of game actually starts at 430. Back to college hoops for a bit.

Oh wow.

Football gonna football. Guess it's not broken, at least.

Are they going to start calling Trevor "Tonya" at Arrowhead?

I'm not saying the Jags are good. But they can probably beat Chad Henne.

Dunno, Henne looked pretty good on that drive.

I just want Legion to get his hopes up because...

I love Collinsworth talking about the "adjustments" they made during halftime with Mahomes.

And by "adjustments" he means "the strongest opioids they could find."

Playoff football is too stressful.

Only when your team is playing.

The Jags defense hasn't played all game and I'm still stressed.

Oh my, what an awful way and place to fumble the ball.

Wow what a drive. Kickoff return. 3rd and 10 big run. On the verge of scoring. Oops.

And now INT. Game probably over.

Hopefully Mike Caldwell gets fired and the Jags get another defensive coordinator. One that doesn't think you should drop your edge rushers into pass coverage.

Josh Allen and Arden Key covering Kelce should be a fireable offense.

They played like a team that's dead last in stopping tight ends.

Well, this looks like it's going the way I thought it might. Still thrilled with the season overall, although I'd prefer losing to anyone other than Philly/Dallas.

Well this game is getting pointless real fast.

Yeah, the Giants are getting waxed. This could be 35-0 at the half.

Looks like I'm taking a bigger chunk out of my watch-through of Cobra Kai than I thought I was going to tonight.

Respect to Joe Davis for going with a fleece and a scarf. Nice and warm winter wear.

I've fallen behind on that show. Is everyone still acting like the fate of the San Fernando Valley is determined by the outcome of teenage karate tournaments?

Season 6 is the final and coming up soon
