I will go back and check on iPlayer but it’s probably been cut out. I was watching but not until they kicked off
Edit. Damn. Can’t believe I missed that! Someone had taped a mobile phone to the back of the set.
No threats or incidents were reported to officers prior to Everton's game on Saturday amid safety concerns for its board of directors
If somebody did made credible threats of violence against the board, I definitely want them prosecuted.
That said, these threats not being reported to police, coupled with Ian Wright saying he got a WhatsApp message from someone close to Kenwright about the threats and in his words "throwing the fans under the bus", does not lead to an excess of credibility here.
Gotta love new owners. Chelsea splash some more cash (25m 40m roughly? Who cares) for Noni Madueke. Good transfer? Who knows someone who plays FM might know.
Arsenal are allegedly in for Leandro Trossard for 27m. Seems like a good reinforcement signing. Thing is he's 28 turning 29 still this season.
My biggest fear is the fixture pile up (UEFA Cup) + related injuries/fatigue are what derail the Arsenal form.
Spurs v City right now tho. Quick turnaround for two teams coming off Derby losses. Tasty.
Spurs sucker punch Citeh with 2 goals before the end of the first half. Frankly, City have walked straight into playing how Spurs clearly want them too.
Haaland is…… a bit pants all of a sudden?
Edit: and 9 minutes into the second half City have equalised with goals from Alvarez and Haaland. Shows what I know. Pep must have given them the complete hairdryer treatment at half time.
Man City ahead.
Honestly, Spurs. Pathetic.
Potential St.Totteringham's date moves up.
Still denying Arsenal are title contenders ;D

Can't trust them to do anything.
Woah.
Someone check on Todd Boehly.
Arsenal managed to sign a player. Trossard!
I'll wait for the Tifo analysis but I'll take it.
Lampard has to go soon right? It felt to me if either he or moyes lost that game they were done for…
Haaland has found his shooting boots again today and got a hat-trick against Wolves
Rashford has just scored for until against Arsenal at the Emirates. I’d say Arsenal have been on top before that though.
f*ckING YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
If the club had any sense they would have done this before the World Cup break. With that time to train and an easy run of fixtures, they could be in an entirely different position. But this is Everton, so they will probably wait a month to find a replacement.
What a s***show of club management.
I had hope for Lampard (he did well with no budget at Chelsea). I don't know who on earth would take the job at this point - it's such an utterly poisoned chalice, especially since the board is not going anywhere.
*shudder* Actually, I can think of one person.
Please no.

Lampard is like Gerrard - trying to manage top level teams without the experience. Pep is the exception, not the rule. Even Arteta spent a good number of years as Pep’s understudy before he took the Arsenal job.
I would say "who would take the Everton job now, it's a poisoned chalice" but I said the same about Sunderland, Moyes took the job and got relegated with them and his career still recovered.

Alan Pardew in the queue just behind him.
