NCAA Football 2022/2023 Season Catch All!

Oh yeah there's still a game tonight.

BTW I really hate it when TV says something starts at 730 but that's just pregame sh*t and it doesn't really start until 8. Back to finish Jeopardy I guess

Edit: 747 apparently. And UGA strikes first

We are inching close to "you can just turn it off now" time.

Yeah.

So! Anyone read any good books?

I mean, I'm having a great time!

If you do want to do some lite reading, take a look at Georgia's 23 regular season schedule.

This is a straight up beatdown.

Did TCU actually get off the bus? I'm not convinced.

My favorite part of this game is watching Saban deal with Georgia getting annoited as NCAA master.

Annoyed by not getting granted the rank of master? That's the path to the Dark Side of the Force.

Pretty sure Saban is already in Darth Plagueis territory. I'd be more inclined to watch Bama games if he were Force Lightening those unpaid Padawans on his sideline rather than just screaming at them. Kind of a weak Sith.

Also: ESPN Win % went from 99.8 for Georgia at 38-7 to 99.6 at 45-7. Wha-?

Honestly, I think they did. It's just that Georgia is running a bunch of freaking Astartes out there on each play.

Cuz they're only a few points away from being up by TWO 28-3's. Comeback is on, baby!

So time for off-season top 25 anyone? They really don't need to play the 4th quarter

God, getting all the way to the Natty, just to have the other team play the backups for the 4th quarter....

FOR THE EMPEROR!

Would love a simulator that pits historic teams against each other.

Also: Al Michaels O/U comment.

Passing on fourth and five when you are up by 45 points is a little..... aggressive.

LOL they're literally up by that much and then some

Kirby Smart has never lost a CFB playoff game in regulation.

Disney probably wants to ask for their money back from the NCAA.

Congratulations, So-Fi Stadium, you've jumped to the top of the list of the biggest dumps in American professional sports. And I say that knowing full well that Levi's Stadium's westward facing seats during the late summer is one of the worst experiences in American professional sports.

Well how could anyone have predicted something like rain in Los Angeles?

It's the same person who didn't think there was sun in Santa Clara or birds in Minneapolis.

Congrats, UGA fans. Pretty impressive. Next year looks good for UGA as well, with the only game that looks at all potentially competitive from today's view is the UT game in Knoxville, and if they make it, the SECCG. Figure out a serviceable QB and it's reasonable to assume they'll be playoff bound again.

TCU stays #2 in the polls. Not saying they should have dropped a lot, but I kind of expected OSU to jump them. Amazing season for that team whatever the ranking.

Since the BCS started, SEC has won 15 of the 25 championships. If you include future SEC teams, that goes to 17 of 25. ACC's had 4. Big 10, 2 (3 if you look to the future with USC, or 4 if you count USC as a co-champion in 2003). Pac 12, 1 or 2, depending again on that 2003 season split champion. Big 12 had 2, but those teams are moving to the SEC.

FRESNO STATE lands at #24 in the final AP Poll.

Does this mean I get to sh*t on A&M now too?

Dawgs will need to replace 1.5 of their starting tackles (right tackles rotated) and center but otherwise pretty much all of the offense comes back besides Stet and RB Kenny McIntosh and TE Darnell Washington.

If the QB room can give at least 75 percent of the Mailman's numbers, have to like the Dawg's chances to make it to a Atlanta.

And trip to Knoxville definitely seems like the only likely obstacle this far out.

What can you tell me about safety Evan Williams now that he is officially a Duck? Oregon desperately needs help in the defensive backfield.

Wisconsin RB Isaac Guerendo has committed to Louisville.

Looks like a rs? senior that didn't play a ton. But he had 6ypc, 400 yards, 5 TDs this season. Can always use more weapons for Brohm

Yeah, this is elite lying for motivation.

No-one who wasn't very obviously a Twitter troll thought Georgia was going to go 7-5. 10-2 at worst.

Credit to Kirby, I dunno which Mizzout preview he photoshopped Georgia's logo onto, but whatever works. If he manages to convince them no-one believed in them next season, he should go into the CFB HoF immediately.

Hey, if some UGA analyst found Carlbear95's personal blog where he predicted that all SEC teams would finish 7-5 and yet be ranked 1-14 in the polls, who is Kirby to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Besides the fact that he's a traitor and dead to me?

Well he's the younger brother of one of your departing safeties, Bennett Williams.

He's a solid deep safety that hits bigger than he is. Isn't the best at playing the ball, so don't expect a lot of INTs but he can cover both in deep zone and press man.
