If Davis Webb can shock the Eagles and open the door for the Niners to take the #1 seed, I'll forever proclaim the superiority of Cal QBs.

Cal QBs are good for nothing.

D O I N K

Oh sure, now Webb scores a TD after I call him good for nothing.

Let's see you get the onsides and do that again!

Seattle out with a tie and I don't have to root for a Rams?

Please please please

Ugh. So Seattle or GB it is

Good job Baker, you dolt

Thirty-six year old Sean McVay may have been sent into retirement by 71 year-old Pete Carroll. Must be like losing to Tom Brady. Or Clint Eastwood.

Spencer Hall pointed out that Daboll looks like Carl from ATHF and now I love my coach even more.

Not to disagree, but Carl is Jim Tomsula. Daboll is:

Jeff Fisher: "Well I could've done that."

Welp, now tonight's game is a lot less interesting than it was at 4 p.m.

Who's ready for BLACK MONDAY? We agree that Kliff will be the first koach kanned?

I don't agree, only because I expect Michael Bidwell to wring his hands for a while when thinking about the check he's gonna have to write Kliff because he just gave him a contract extension.

Whereas the Texans can boot Lovie without any concern about money.

Was Lovie getting fired anyways? I kinda want him to keep his job for winning.

There was talk before this week's game about a full-on house cleaning coming to Houston. Lovie, Nick Caserio, everyone.

I'm not sure a win against a team that was 4-11-1 going into the contest really moves the needle much.

And Josh McCown's name is already coming up again. Cal McNair might just be getting rid of everyone who said "no" to the idea last time. Failson gonna failson.

Packers are chaos right now while Rodgers has been meh. No team should want to play them.

They are good for one upset in playoffs if they make it that far then retuning to an average team.

That's exactly it. The Niners played the Geno Seahawks twice already and those games went as you would expect. Geno's not going to make the splash play throws needed to throw the Niners off their game. Seattle wants to play a ground-pound-and-defense game, and the Niners are flat out better than them at exactly that kind of game.

Green Bay brings the threat of turning any given game into a shootout. They're not a consistently good team, and their run defense is trash, so generally you would expect the Niners to batter them on the ground like the 2019 NFC Championship Game. And if they play the game 10 times, that probably happens most of the 10 games, but there's gonna be at least a couple in there where Rodgers gets hot, hurts the Niners with an aggressive pass game early, and bullies the Niners out of their strangle-you-to-death gameplan.

Teams that try to play close-to-the-vest football aren't gonna beat SF. It's a team that hits explosive plays early (or late in a close game) that are a danger to the Niners.

As if you have to ask me of all people.

San Francisco won 10 straight games to end the regular season and secure their playoff seed.

Jacksonville won 6 straight games to end the regular season and secure their playoff seed.

Fresno State won 9 straight games including their bowl game to end their season.

My teams went a combined 22-2 from November 1st forward, and the last loss was by the Jags on December 4th.

According to current trends, we should expect the Super Bowl to end with the unprecedented step of declaring both the 49ers and Jaguars co-winners after 10 overtimes fail to break the stalemate.

WTF was that end of half FG mess?

Rasul understood the assignment but f*cked up the execution. He was able to get a Lion to push him but forgot to flop and retaliated instead.

Pretty bad 3 point swing

Not sure wtf is wrong with Quay Walker but he's making it really hard for me to root for him.

I can't believe a player was ejected twice this season and it wasn't Trevor Penning.

My worst outcome is the Packers still winning this game just to get pumped vs the 49ers.

If they just lose I'm spared that and they move up the draft board around 4 spots.

I guess this means Kliff might be the first Black Monday firing after all, since Lovie didn't even make it to Monday.

Butt catch!

Ahahaha 2 minute trick play

Don't think I've ever seen a WR screen hook-and-lateral. Screen and lateral?

Well Niners, time to kick Seattle's ass a third time.

Seachickens for dinner next weekend
