2023 - 12 Month Pile Program

Oh, is it that time already? Welcome to the 2023 thread! IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/party-popper_1f389.png)

IMAGE(https://media.giphy.com/media/qAqG1EQ4s5lISdzcMV/giphy.gif)

Remember that each of us track our progress differently, but kind of with the same idea. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/microsoft/319/light-bulb_1f4a1.png) It's about recognizing what you have, being okay with throwing out titles that don't catch your interest or that you will never play, and trying to focus on what you already have; there's no hard and fast rule. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/woman-judge-medium-light-skin-tone_1f469-1f3fc-200d-2696-fe0f.png)

Reminder that this thread and the idea it incorporates aren't about IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/stop-sign_1f6d1.png) stopping IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/stop-sign_1f6d1.png) you from buying games. Let's be honest: that'd be a fool's errand. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/rolling-on-the-floor-laughing_1f923.png) It’s about trying to enjoy what you have. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes_1f60a.png)

Time for a quick refresher. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/woman-teacher-medium-light-skin-tone_1f469-1f3fc-200d-1f3eb.png)

IMAGE(https://media.giphy.com/media/1t381fbs4Sf5X7mMZV/giphy.gif)

First, YOU decide whether or not something belongs on your pile; This isn't a collection to showcase IMAGE(https://emojipedia-us.s3.amazonaws.com/source/skype/289/framed-picture_1f5bc-fe0f.png), this is a list of games that will require your attention sometime in the future, even if that time is just spent deciding that you will never get to a certain title. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/source/microsoft-teams/337/watch_231a.png)

Secondly, just lumping them all together doesn't help anyone. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/samsung/349/books_1f4da.png) Yes, make a list, but more than just that. You aren't buying groceries IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/twitter/348/shopping-cart_1f6d2.png), you're committing your time. An invaluable, and ever-shrinking, resource. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/samsung/349/hourglass-not-done_23f3.png) So, use some tools to help you understand what you may be in for. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/samsung/349/hammer-and-wrench_1f6e0-fe0f.png) From sites like HowLongToBeat.com that tells you what to expect, time-commitment wise, to critical acclaim or notoriety, which may adjust when and where you aim your sights. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/telescope_1f52d.png)

Third, You don't have to just sort your list alphabetically. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/input-latin-letters_1f524.png) Sort it by desire, zeitgeist, system preference, or anything else that you think makes sense to you. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/google/350/mirror-ball_1faa9.png) You're not building a web application, you're curating a very specific list of games. IMAGE(https://emojipedia-us.s3.amazonaws.com/source/skype/289/sparkling-heart_1f496.png)

Remember, it's your list, which means it's your rules. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/google/350/straight-ruler_1f4cf.png) Wanna jettison a game because you don't like the box art? Do it. Does a 40 hour game seem like too much of a commitment? Boot it. Does it require 3 hours of boring at the start to get to the "good parts"? Nix it. If a game doesn't respect your time from the jump, then just be done with it. Does it mean you "wasted" money on it? No, not necessarily. The cost is your money plus your time, the latter of which is likely the most valuable. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/source/microsoft-teams/337/stopwatch_23f1-fe0f.png)

Fourth, throw games off your pile like people throw coins into a fountain. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/rocket_1f680.png) You're not out to impress anyone. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/facebook/327/trophy_1f3c6.png) This isn't about monitoring your every move, waiting for your next post to see what titles have been kicked to the curb. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/google/350/woman-detective-medium-light-skin-tone_1f575-1f3fc-200d-2640-fe0f.png) It's about you being ok with saying "No" to commitments that are too much, and "Yes" to those that delight you. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes_1f601.png)

Games should be fun. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes_1f604.png) Enjoyable, even. Not wasting your time, feeling like a second, third, or fourth job. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/woman-construction-worker-medium-light-skin-tone_1f477-1f3fc-200d-2640-fe0f.png) Those are signs that you need to walk away. Eject the disc, delete it from your hard drive, or put it into a "Jettisoned" folder on your system. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/litter-in-bin-sign_1f6ae.png)

Finally, some games, you will be so excited for. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/star-struck_1f929.png) Can't wait for the release. The arrival bears so much excitement. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/astonished-face_1f632.png) People are going wild. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/partying-face_1f973.png) The zeitgeist is off the charts! IMAGE(https://emojipedia-us.s3.amazonaws.com/source/skype/289/chart-increasing_1f4c8.png) And you just.... bounce off it. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/neutral-face_1f610.png) That is okay. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/samsung/349/ok-hand_medium-skin-tone_1f44c-1f3fd_1f3fd.png)I'm giving you permission to not like every game, to walk away without feeling guilty. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/smiling-face_263a-fe0f.png) Regardless of everything going on, some games just will not be for you. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/woman-shrugging-medium-light-skin-tone_1f937-1f3fc-200d-2640-fe0f.png) Even though you bought it day 1 digitally, you are allowed to be done with it before noon. IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/woman-running-medium-light-skin-tone_1f3c3-1f3fc-200d-2640-fe0f.png)IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/whatsapp/326/dashing-away_1f4a8.png)

Repeat after me, “This process isn’t about others, it’s about what I enjoy. This is all about me.” IMAGE(https://em-content.zobj.net/thumbs/240/apple/325/princess_medium-light-skin-tone_1f478-1f3fc_1f3fc.png)

Hah already added Life is Strange: True Colors after the praise it got in the GotY thread.

And it was on sale for $11 at Amazon

Not 'ready' to figure out my pile just yet.
But I did start playing/watching Immortality earlier today.
Got another 9 days left of a Gamepass sub, trying to get the most of it! So for now, that is my pile. Which probably means; Immortality, As Dusk Falls, Citizen Sleeper, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Grounded, and maybe Eiyden Chronicle: Rising (more to get an idea of the world for the next game which I kickstarted, dont care too much about this one).
I guess I will need at least another month to get anywhere on this list.

Great choice!

Happy new year, Pile Trackers!!! Love the OP, Trueheart, it's a thing to behold. And thanks for adding the GWJ adventure game club, even though it's dormant.

I went back this morning to look at the priority list I created for myself last year and... I think I beat one. One thing to note is that most of these games were backlog games, and the backlog went out the window last year so... success, I guess?

Anyway, shorter ordered list this year, but most of the games are long ones:
1. Persona 3 Portable (hoping to beat that one before I start working on January 9th)
2. Myst remake (for... research, let's say)
3. Tales of Arise
4. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III
5. Octopath Traveler
6. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
7. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Some other things will be added to the list (like JRPG game club games) as time goes on.

Happy new year, everyone! Going to take stock of what my goals for 2022 were (I met about half of them, gaming-wise) and then set another bunch that I will also likely fall short of hahaha. Fun will be had.

My current list

Persona 5
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero
FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE
Fire Emblem Engage
Chained Echoes
No Man's Sky
Ys 8
Steelrising
Tales of Symphonia
Astral Chain
XCOM: Chimera Squad
ELEX
Phoenix Point
Elden Ring
Vampyr
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Mad Max
To the Moon
Final Fantasty 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy 16
Hogwarts Legacy
Stalker 2
Jedi Survivor
Starfield
Tears of the Kingdom

Haven't tracked my backlog for the past year or two because I was sucked into Final Fantasy 14 so hard. I've been taking a break lately though, and decided I wanted to start tracking it again.

The list I came up with is a mix of games I've spent real money on, as well as free ones I've received from various stores that I'm genuinely interested in playing. That brings it to sixty games, which is certainly more than anyone needs or can possibly complete, especially with behemoths like Starfield and Final Fantasy 16 coming out this year.

Regardless, if anyone is morbidly curious, the full list is below.

Spoiler:

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
A Plague Tale: Innocence
ABZU
AER
Age of Wonders III
Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation
Baba is You
Blair Witch
Coffee Talk
Crusader Kings III
Dark Souls
Darksiders III
Death Stranding
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Eliza
Final Fantasy XI
Get In The Car, Loser!
Grand Theft Auto V
Homeworld
Homeworld 2
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
Into the Breach
Jurassic World: Evolution
Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A fragmentary passage
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts III
Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory
Metro Exodus
Monkey Island 2: Special Edition
Moonlighter
My Memory of Us
NiGHTS into Dreams…
Outlast 2
Pillars of Eternity
Pine
Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition
Prey
Rage 2
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Return to Monkey Island
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
Space Marine
STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
Styx: Master of Shadows
Sunless Sea
SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE
Supraland
System Shock Enhanced Edition
Tell Me Why
The Evil Within
The Evil Within 2
The Last of Us Part II
Total War Shogun 2
Watch Dogs: Legions
XCOM 2
Yakuza Kiwami II

Both are roughly in order of priority.

In Progress

  • Final Fantasy X
  • Astalon: Tears of the Earth
  • Nobody Saves the World: The Frozen Hearth
  • Returnal
  • Slipways
  • Fire Emblem Three Houses
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator
  • Ixion
  • Blacktail
  • Triangle Strategy

The Queue

  • Fire Emblem Heroes: Three Hopes
  • Lost Words: Beyond the Page
  • Unsighted
  • Tactics Ogre Reborn
  • OPUS: Echo of Starsong
  • CrisTales
  • Persona 5 Strikers

So, in 2022 I managed to beat a total of 35 games, which is 6 more than in 2021. Out of the ones I had originally marked for completion at the start of the year, only about half of them are part of those 35. Hence, some are jettisoned, others carried over:

Darksiders II
Shivers II
Shining Force III Episode 1
Paper Mario
The Outer Worlds
CLEO: A Pirate's Tale
Torment Tides of Numenera
Wasteland 2
The Alliance Alive
Pikmin 3
The Touryst
Yomawari: Time Alone
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Cyberpunk 2077
The Black Watchmen
Xenoblade Chronicles
Return to Monkey Island
Dark Cloud 2
Ys 7
Crimson Shroud
Trails of Zero
Haiku, the Robot
Zapling Bygone
Digimon Story: Cybersleuth
Kingdom Hearts 1 HD (just got it as a gift along with the whole series package wachamacallit on the PS4)
Legend of Grimrock

I'm hoping to get to at least half of these, to keep up with my own trend.

Last year's goals:

Spoiler:

Finish games that I started in 2021- I finished some but not all the games that I started in 2021.

Play through more 2D Metroid games - Only beat Metroid: Zero Mission. Playing Metriod: Samus Returns right now.

Finish my journey through the Half-Life series - Other than playing around in Half Life 2 VR mod around Christmas, I didn't really meet this goal.

Finish the Danganropa series - Yes, I finished both Ultra Despair Girls and V3.

Play more Yakuza games - Finished Kiwami 2 which was a great time. Picked up the remastered collection over the winter sale so definitely more Yakuza this year.

Give a Souls game a fair shot - Nope. I played 10 minutes of Elden Ring at Pax West but that doesn't count as giving it a fair shot.

Play more VR games - Dabbled in Resident Evil 4 VR, Kayak VR Mirage and Half Life 2 VR mod but the true obsession was Walkabout Minigolf VR. Highly recommended.

Continue setting aside time for gaming - Really failed at this the first part of last year because I was recovering from an injury and still am to an extent. I need to work on some strength training to help with that. But I think more than any of my other previous goals, this is probably the one I want to stick with. I just need to find a schedule that works for me. Every day is probably unrealistic but maybe 2-3 sessions a week outside of my stream time would be good.

I tried to think of goals for this year but that started feeling like work and I don't want the pile to be like that. I think continuing to just buy games that I have an immediate interest to play soon and setting aside time for gaming every week is a good thing to strive for. I do have a shortlist of games that I'm really excited to play in the near future but I'm not going to fuss too much if they don't get played.

My Shortlist:

Spoiler:

Metroid: Samus Returns
Metroid Fusion
Yakuza 3
New Pokemon Snap
Pokemon Legends: Arceus
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Spiritfarer
God of War (2018)
Outer Wilds
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Persona 4 Golden
Bloodborne
Skryim VR
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series

I agree with ForlornHope! My only goal is to play games and have fun. ^^

These days my piles primary function is to help me not buy games on a platform, because I forgot I already had bought it on another platform. Since that just feels so embarrassing.
Shopping addiction is a bad thing...

I made an overly complicated set of goals last year, which I promptly jettisoned around 3 months in. Mostly I'm going to try to do what Forlorn Hope and Eleima mention above: play games for fun, because I want to. That said, it can be fun to compare what I think I'd like to do with what I actually do. So, with that said:

Games I'd definitely like to finish this year:
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling (PS5) - Carry-Over
The Case of the Golden Idol (PC)
Chained Echoes (Switch)
Citizen Sleeper (Switch)
Cult of the Lamb (Switch)
Endless Space 2 (PC) - Carry-Over
Fire Emblem Engage (Switch) - On its way, day 1!
ICEY (Switch) - Was on a deep sale, and my wife wanted to buy it. Looks fun, and short!
King's Bounty: Crossworlds (PC) - Carry-Over
Old World (PC) - Carry-Over
Return of the Obra Dinn (Switch)
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PS5) - Carry-Over
Tales of Arise (PS5)
Triangle Strategy (Switch)
XCOM 2 (Switch)
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox (PS5)

Whew, even making a list was stressful! Time to go play some Tales of Arise.

Huh. it's almost like that idea is core to this thread (holy crap we've doing this for over a decade....)

Dark Souls has also displaced my whole pile. I don't even care, it's too much fun.

That's fantastic - you should be playing games you enjoy. Just remember your pile when you start looking for something else to play, instead of purchasing another title.

That's really all this is for - to make sure you enjoy what you're playing and getting rid of stuff that you aren't.

New year, same report structure with minor changes!

Purchased:

  • Myst remake (Mac/Steam) - Purchased for research for a future project
  • Octopath Traveler (PC/Epic)
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (PC/Epic)

Completed:

  • Tomb Raider (1996) (PC/Steam) - Replay

Dropped:

  • Tales of Arise (PC/Steam) - I was playing for the JRPG club, got sidetracked, and haven't touched it since December. At this point I think I missed the boat, so I'm dropping it for now. I will restart at some point. Maybe. Probably.
  • Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen (PC/Steam) - Don't know if I'm going to go back to this. Most likely not.

Currently playing:

  • Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 Portable (PSP) - Getting very close to the end. I could probably finish it in a weekend if I did nothing else.
  • Monster Hunter World Iceborne (PS4) - Trying to get the Platinum trophy for the Iceborne expansion. Damn those gold crowns.
  • Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak (PC/Steam) - With the Friday GWJ group. Currently griding for parts to make equipment that will be obsolete when TU4 drops.
  • Tomb Raider III (PC/Steam) - Replay. Last time I tried to replay this, I stopped in the London section. I managed to get past it last weekend, so I think I will finish the game this time. It's better than I remember. I might add it to the list of TR games I replay at least once a year.

Planned purchases for 2023:

  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4 (PC) - Purchased
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch)

Priority games for this year:

  • Persona 3 Portable - In progress. Will get to the top of Tartarus... someday!
  • Myst remake - Barely touched
  • Tales of Arise - Will restart eventually
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III - Started, may decide to restart (or check if there's a recap and read that instead)
  • Octopath Traveler
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Ramblings:
I was really hoping to finish Persona 3 this month, and I am getting closer and closer to the end (after about 70 hours so far), but I had the (bad?) idea of playing Tomb Raider III as well, and that pretty much took over my gaming time for the last two weekends.

Already one month in! Can't believe January is over today, but the year in gaming is off to a great start

2022 Progress: 0 [2 finished + 0 dropped - 2 added]
But this is a little bit deceptive because I bought 7 games in December, and 6 of those were purchased right before the turn of the year. So I'm still in the hole!

Current backlog state: IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unfinished.gif)67/ IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unplayed.gif)14

GotY Eligible:

Spoiler:

The Case of the Golden Idol (PC)
Fire Emblem Engage (Switch)
ICEY (Switch)
Old World (PC)
Return of the Obra Dinn (Switch)
Tales of Arise (PS5)
Triangle Strategy (Switch)

January was a decent month for gaming, here. I didn't really beat any of the games I'd set out to clear from my pile, but I got close-ish. I only got one purchase in, and that was a veeeery delayed delivery that I'd expected in December.

Beaten/Completed:

Pokemon Violet (Switch

Added:

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (PS4)

Played a decent amount of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, Am approaching the end, I think, in Solatorobo, and started Return to Monkey Island on Gamepass. I'm relatively confident that I will manage to clear these three in February.

Oh sh*t. It's time for the January report. Already.

Added:
None. Though I was sorely tempted.

Finished:

  • SteamWorld Dig 2 (Steam) IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) - Wrapped up what I'd started and enjoyed in 2022.
  • Creaks (Steam) IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) - Wow. Amanita Games does it again, and knows it out of the park. Every single thing in this game was beautiful. The puzzles and their logic. The music. The animation, the art. Just... instant GOTY candidate.
  • ibb & obb (Steam) IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) - Played with my ER doc buddy, was good fun!

Dropped:
None at this time.

Played:

  • Guild Wars 2 (PC) IMAGE(https://backloggery.com/images/mastered.gif) - Just went I thought I was out, I get wrapped up in that warm, comfortable blanket again.
  • Touken Ranbu (Browser/Android) IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unfinished.gif) - Got my new yari, did fairly well in the anniversary smithing campaign (56 attempts is not that bad, really). Now I'm just getting through Setsubun and looking forward to WTE and ECII. <3
  • Touken Ranbu Musou (Steam) IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/new.gif)IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) - Haven't actually played, but I still need toget that last cheevo.

Remaining games: 54 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unfinished.gif) (54 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unplayed.gif))
Progress (Games): 3 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) + 0 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/null.gif) - 2 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/new.gif) = 1
Est. remaining hours: 734 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unfinished.gif) (734 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unplayed.gif))
Progress (Est. total hours): 20 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/beaten.gif) + 0 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/null.gif) + 0 played IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/unfinished.gif) - 60 IMAGE(http://backloggery.com/images/new.gif) = -40
(Negative hours, because future releases are being factored in)

Backloggery is at 5, so not too shabby a start, but in truth... I feel like I've barely gamed this month. I went right into "closing 2022" season at work and GOTY writing (or attempting to, anyway), and it's been an uphill battle every - single - step - of - the - way. I've been away from gaming for too long, and I suffer for it, as I always do, but I'm purposefully keeping away until I get my responsibilities out of the way. But I struggle with those, so more often than not, I've been hit with massive bouts of inertia. Something's gotta give at some point.

trueheart, only 3 gifs in the OP are still working. Lots of dead links everywhere else.

Finished

  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix

Started

  • Death Stranding

Added

  • Subnautica
  • Fallout 76

First month in, and while I'm not reducing the pile exactly, I am hoping I'll be able to resist making any more purchases for a few months. Subnautica was added to the list because I missed that I already owned it while making my initial list. I couldn't resist Fallout 76 on sale for $10, so onto the pile it goes.

January was visual storytime apparently. And a very productive month. At least until I ran into an old farm.

Added: Wadjet Eye bundle. Adding a pile of games on top of a pile.

Finished:
Immortality
A Plague Tale: Requiem
A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986
Along The Edge
SoulSet

(Re)Playing:
Old World
Stardew Valley. With All The Mods. Literally.

trueheart, only 3 gifs in the OP are still working. Lots of dead links everywhere else.

Thanks. I’ll take a look. And the emoji links too it seems. I’ll sus it out in the next couple days.

I don't know how we'll manage to survive without all the Taylor Swift GIFs

Started

  • Final Fantasy XIV -- This was a New Year's "see what all the fuss is about." Did a few intro fetch quests and... that's it.

Finished

  • Final Fantasy X
  • Astalon: Tears of the Earth -- This was really good.

Paused

  • Ixion -- It sounds like another bugfix/UI patch is on the way, so I think I'm back in right after that.
  • Returnal
  • Nobody Saves the World: The Frozen Hearth
  • Slipways
  • Triangle Strategy
  • Blacktail
  • Fire Emblem Three Houses

Jettisoned

  • MechWarrior 5
  • Severed Steel
  • Crying Suns

In the Queue

  • Old World -- I was planning to play this with the strategy club. A month has gone by already!?
  • CrisTales
  • Lost Words: Beyond the Page
  • OPUS: Echo of Starsong
  • Persona 5 Strikers
  • Fire Emblem Heroes: Three Hopes
  • Unsighted
  • Tactics Ogre Reborn

The queue I don't mind, but the paused games are stacking up. I was focused FFX and Astalon and barely finished the latter in time for this list, so there was no time to poke at the others. Now I should have a chance to do that until KSP2 comes along.

Aww poor Crying Suns. It's like I'm the only person here who finished and liked that game. Mostly the space combat grid was fun for me

Wow, it's that time already..

January Report~~

Added:
Walkabout Mini Golf VR - Alantis DLC (Meta)

Beat:
(Nothing)

Made Progress In:
Walkabout Mini Golf VR (Meta)
Yakuza 3 Remastered (Steam)
Spiritfarer (Switch)
Metroid: Samus Returns (3DS)
A Plague Tale: Innocence (Epic)

I think I might of beat at least one game if I stuck to 2-3 games but I want to play all the things. It's a problem. I also had to pick up the new course for Walkabout but I'm planning a May trip to Japan so that will probably curb any frivolous game purchases..

Looks like Emojipedia changed their content host and so it broke all the emoji. OP should be updated now.

As for gifs, I only have 3 in the OP, but maybe I'll add an extra randomly.

Added nothing, beat nothing.

Continued my “real-time” playthrough of Persona 5 Royal that I started in April of last year. I kept up until December but fell behind finally. The game calendar ends on February 3rd so I’m not going to finish on time but trying to wrap this up before I start anything else.
