Contraception.
Apparently there's a few mod projects that let you use it as a generic XInput device.
This was my silly purchase of the year but still
I just got them about 20 minutes ago but so far they are exactly what I want - a HD monitor for the Steam Deck, Switch, or PS5. It is rather amazing how great Cyberpunk on the deck looks!
Wow.
Glad they are working out for you.
The narrow field of view isn't distracting?
Part of my birthday present last month was getting the green light to build a new PC. The first standalone components arrived yesterday, and I'm so happy to be delving into the Full RGB Gamer Haven.
My build plan was based mostly on SignalRGB's supported devices, so I only need one program to control all the RGB in the new setup. This is the Cosmic Portal effect available with the Pro subscription.
Glad they are working out for you.

I don't feel like it is narrow. I was playing Persona 5 last night through it and it actually felt a lot bigger and closer than playing on the TV.
I like them quite a bit more each time I use them.
Good deal!
This isn't too silly, but I found a good deal and it's a decent upgrade from my GTX 960. The old CPU had no 8-pin pci-e connector, so I figured that after 10 years, I should probably upgrade that too.
Fiancee has been doing a little more work at her desk and was asking about a second monitor, I'd been eyeing off an upgrade for a while so...Off to the shop we went. I wanted a 144p 144hz 27-inch at around $500. The Odyssey model was exactly what I wanted at that price, but they had none in stock, nor did they have anything else with those specs.
After a bit of talking, the sales rep offered me this floor model 32 inch for $470, making it even cheaper than the 27-inch version! 3 years a warranty so I felt pretty safe about buying semi-"used". I mean, I have my monitor on all day every day and it's lasted 8 years now so
(excuse the mess, this doubles as my painting table )
I just love it! 144hz is really smooth, moreso than I expected. While my current setup doesn't allow 144 fps in a lot of games, it's just nice for general browsing and my regular games (LoL, various roguelikes). Hell, I've never seen Vampire Survivors move so smoothly lol!
Prices in AUD if that looks extra expensive to anyone btw %60ish USD.
After almost thirty years, I got it.
That is FUN!

I want that. Just checked and it's a little pricey for me =(
My wife and I looked up the Sandman collection (volumes) and yah, a bit steep.
If you just want to read it and not own it, ask your local libraries to carry it.
We want to read it. But it seems like it is the kind of thing one should own...
They still have the digital comic platforms right? Perhaps that is a way to read it in the comfort of your own home?
edit: yah it looks like it is on dcuniverseinfinite.com

It is expensive.
When at all possible, I try to support my local boardgame shop which is also the biggest comics shop in the area. They had it full price ($125 less a 10% loyalty discount). Then I try Powell's, just to support another local retailer that seems to do good by their workers. Also full price.
Amazon had this for $75.
That's still expensive for a collection of comic books but I'm justifying it as a long-term purchase that will be on my shelf for pretty much forever. One of my all-time favorite stories and I'll re-read it a bunch and could see myself keeping it (and a handful of other TPBs) on the shelf alongside the other must-haves:
Watchmen
Superman for All Seasons
A nice copy of A Song of Ice and Fire if/when Winds of Winter ever comes out.
The Expanse novels.
alongside the other must-haves:
DC Kingdom Come
I didn't really care for that one too much. I liked Alex Ross but the story just didn't grab me.
I would love an Astro City hardcover though. Maybe with his covers as an appendix.
So back in the day, I didn't pay much attention to strategy guides, so I totally missed that many of my favorite sims had them, and recently I've picked up:
And the one that I'm particularly excited about, since I'm streaming it next once I'm done with F-19:
Terrific stuff.
I've been nostalgic for an old, phonebook-sized, joke book that I used to own. So I went online and searched for old joke books. I didn't find the one I was remembering, but I picked up a few used books from 50s to the 80s- plus the Soupy Sales book which was new and published in 2003- but filled with old jokes from the same era.
Some are funny, most are groaners, and a few are inscrutable and/or shouldn't be repeated in today's day and age.
It's only silly if you don't follow it up with your best Duck Dunn rendition in a year's time. Must include pipe.

Soupy Sales. That's a name I've not heard in a long time...a long time...

Duck Dunn was a guitarist.
I am going for Jaco Pastorius
Oops.
Put in a 4K projector and 120" screen. Movies are great on it, but holy cow, the games! Stadia controller bottom right for scale.

Awesome.
What speakers and receiver are you rockin'? I'm planning out our living room theater (a few years out yet). For better or worse, I'm kinda locked in on Klipsch stuff just because I grew up with it and have a couple Forte IIs I use with my turntable.
