There are a few Qb’s that would have had that hit penalized. Apparently Trevy Trev is not one of them.

Ha, was thinking the same thing. Isn't landing on top of the QB a penalty now? Sure was last Thursday when Bosa landed on Geno.

I just assumed the ref heard Bosa say something incredibly racist to Geno, and that's what triggered the penalty.

Jerry Kill? Haha. He ended up being my OC in my NCAA 14 dynasty after getting fired from Minn. It's funny how accurate that game is with the starting head coaches that end up on the hot seat 1 or 2 seasons in just like they did in real life. Larry Fedora then ended up as my OC a couple years later after being fired from NC, about the time he really did become OC for Baylor.

Dougie P wants to recreate the 2017 Eagles in Jacksonville. Im rooting for him. I think he’s a good coach.

So Beat-Hard becomes the Flacco of this generation and T-Law becomes the sh*tty QB who bounces around the league?

Honestly I don’t think Trevy Trev is Wentz 2.0. Wentz is a bad guy…teammates for the most part didn’t like him and he never wanted to take the effort to actually get better. There is so much smoke around how Wentz was difficult to coach I gotta believe he won’t be around much longer.

During the game, I was thinking, "oh the next Eisen Show is gonna be good". He was already so done with Zach.

So not an accurate re-creation then.

Well Baalke is absolutely going to try and take all the credit and eventually stab Pederson in the back like Howie Roseman, so it's pretty accurate.

I think it's safe to say if you want to find a comp for Carson Wentz, a physically gifted and highly drafted QB whose teammates can't stand him, you could probably find another of those pretty easily in last night's game.

But was he drafted #2 overall by a green-colored team?

I think I like "Poo Your Job" better than the other names floating around out there.

Ah, Bostick Botched It.

Good times.

Leon Lett again!

Kyler and Kliff are reportedly drifting apart.

This is missing Romo dropping a snap on a kneeldown but otherwise it's only fair to include this play.

If we're looking for Romo plays, do we include the one that sent Big Tuna into retirement?

Jets WR coach (and former Cowboys WR) Miles Austin has been suspended for betting on non-football sports games.

Come on, he was just trying to make a play. It was 3rd down, inside of 4 minutes, and they were down by... up, up by 10.

The amazing part of that game was that, even after that fumble recovery TD, the Texans were still up by 3 with 3:54 to go, and Indianapolis had already burned 2 timeouts.

So what do they do next? Go 3-and-out and bleed the clock and Indy's last timeout, and punt it deep with 2 minutes left? That should be worst-case scenario, right?

No, they run once, throw an incomplete pass on 2nd down (stopping the clock for free for Indy), then Rosenfels takes a sack on 3rd down, fumbles again, and Indy recovers for the turnover on Houston's 20 yard line. Two plays later, Manning hits Wayne for a TD.

Indy never even had to use their 3rd timeout.

And THEN, Houston gets the ball back, gets into Indy territory with 50 seconds left and 2 timeouts in their pocket. 2nd and 10, and Rosenfels sails the ball for a fair catch interception, where no Texan was in camera view.

Sports when played well are thrilling.

But sports played hilariously incompetently are just a delight.

Jaguars now have a 68% chance of making the playoffs per 538's model.

Two weeks ago it was 14%.

The last time the Jaguars and 49ers made the playoffs in the same year, their QBs were Mark Brunell and Steve Young (1998).

Excuse me, it's a 68% change of winning the division and a 69% chance of making the playoffs. Nice.

Which brings me to...

Welcome back Sammy Watkins

Re: Gronk.

Nice.

My goodness. Carolina is up 3 scores on the Lions, and the game isn't even that close.

Seahawks had something like 20yds until 2min to go in 1st half and still only have 3 points.

Against the vaunted KC D (24th in weighted DVOA defense).

How I assume this went:

Sammy Watkins goes into the game, catches long pass.

Sammy Watkins heads to the sideline, where he is high-fived by a fellow player.

Sammy Watkins put on IR.

Now everyone can stop talking about the "surprising" Lions and focus on the Jaguars.

The Patriots are going to finish this game needing to throw some laterals which is hilarious and terrifying at the same time.
