I have no clue. Cincy is going to the Big 12 in 24, but that's the depleted conference after 2 members bail for the SEC. Also 2 pro teams in the city, and still a bit of a basketball school, so yeah if he thinks fan support will be better there he's sadly mistaken.
He tried to bail for SC after his 8 win year 1 remember? Seems like he never was happy.
Word on the street is he wanted a raise after turning this season around. Maybe he shouldn't have lost to Boston College.
We have a good recruiting class that was excited about NIL money with no pro teams competing for sponsors in the city. Hopefully some of them stay locked in because Cincy won't be that way and also is an Under Armor school.
Best line I've seen on the Orange Bowl, which is UT vs Clemson (from reddit): Should rename it to the c*ck Block Bowl
Hate it, but have to give respect to the line.
EDIT: Hah! South Carolina's mascot is censored by the board.

Gotcha, thanks. I pay so little attention to college sports these days that I missed the whole Cincinnati-to-the-Big 12 thing.
Happy for UC men's hoops coach (formerly at UNC Greensboro) Wes Miller. Glad to see him move up in the world without having to switch jobs again.

Yeah I like him. Wish we had hired him maybe but that's another thread...

Gamec*cks.
EDIT: LOL
Cal is now up to 6 in the transfer portal.. and the latest one is a good one in starting LB Oluwafemi Oladejo...
Oladejo had 17 tackles against UCLA in our final game of the season, so naturally within hours of declaring for the portal, he posted that he'll be transferring to UCLA.
I believe Oregon now has 10 in the portal.
The portal this year is going to be insane.
Former Louisville QB Will Stein is the new OC at Oregon. Teddy Bridgewater backup, stayed on as a GA to start coaching. Most recently OC at UTSA this season where they were 9th in YPG, 13th in PPG and, and went 8-0 in CUSA.
Wishing the timing was different so we could bring him back to Louisville, dang.
On to Oregon to become OC for a season or 2 and then move on to be a failed head coach as is the tradition.
Does it bother anybody else that the number on the helmet doesn't match the jersey?
The ending Also Will Levis line.

Just another example of not paying attention to the details and sloppy play that is becoming the norm for end of Saban's career led Bama teams.

Stetson Bennett the Fourth, wins the Heisman and the Dawgs make it to the championship game.
Bo Nix becomes the first starting QB to lose four straight games against Georgia.
Alabama does not win the SEC West. Neither does Texas A&M.
No lies detected! The Mailman might not hold the trophy, but I bet he ends up in NYC.
If I was a gambling man....
Looks like Williams will win, but good on Stet for earning the invite to NYC.
Edit.
Not a bad night for SBIV!
I know everyone here has already heard it, but Deion Sanders is now the HC of Colorado.
Who knows how that will turn out, and if it does, I'm sure FSU will be calling soon, but good on Colorado for trying... as they say.. if you can't be good at college football, at least be interesting. Cal is neither.
Also interesting per an interview with SI:
Sanders’s deal with Colorado is for five years, $29.5 million, which is an average of $5.9 million per year, per Brian Howell of Buffzone. Sanders will make $5.5 million in year one, and will earn $200,000 raises each year over the life of the contract....
“We don’t have the money yet, but I know we’ll have it so I’m not worried about that piece,” [Colorado Athletic Director] George said when asked about Sanders’s contract on Sunday.
As someone in my twitter commented...
Sam Bankman-Fried is evidently the new consultant for the AD at Colorado.
I'm surprised PrimeCoin isn't a thing already.
I cannot WAIT to see how nice the car dealership Stetson Bennett runs is. And I don't even mean that as a diss! It's gonna be a GREAT Honda dealership!
RE: Scott Satterfield
In 12 days, Louisville PLAYS Cincinnati in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. A bowl game where the teams will, and I shit you not, share sidelines.
They've gotta let him coach both teams.
Yeah he's already said he's not coaching either team, not even going to the game. I'm not sure which assistants are still around for Cincy to coach.
For Louisville we have Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch, who was working a player development position since January. He's our interim coach for 12 days. Not sure he has any assistants left either so this is going to be interesting to say the least.
And Cal's new Offensive Coordinator is...
Cal's Former Offensive Coordinator, most recent fired Texas State Head Coach Jake Spavital... Of course "former" was when he was OC during Sonny Dykes final year when we were 10th in total offense in the country, with QB Davis Webb.
He's the exact opposite of Bill Musgrave's pro-style boring offense.
I guess this is good news? As long as Troy Taylor stays at Sac State and doesn't go to stanfurd, it will at least be an improvement over last year.
We actually have a lot of talent at the skill positions... WR, RB and TE are all returning some good players. Of course we still need an offensive line, but even if that doesn't magically improve, we maybe can dink and dunk our way down the field when we have to.
And Jeff Brohm is coming home to Louisville. Official announcement expected in the AM after athletic board meeting.

Interesting. He reportedly turned down Tennessee a couple of years ago.
I know UT has been a mismanaged place for years, but it seems our leadership and coaches are all working together right now in the major sports, and results have been good. Men's football, basketball, and baseball have all been top 10 if not #1 for brief periods over the last couple of years. Women's basketball, volleyball, and soccer are all in pretty decent spots. Tennessee and Golf have been highly ranked with some championships.

Louisville is the only ten-he-sees.
The Music City Bowl will feature:
- Two offenses outside the top 100 in scoring
- Two top-15 scoring defenses
- Iowa's 3rd string QB
- Kentucky's backup QB
- Few first-string receiversThis game is going to be a beautiful mess.
They really oughtta broadcast the game in black-and-white.

Huh. I remember when universities justified having athletic departments that lost huge sums of money by arguing they served to encourage donations. And now it seems like the purpose of a money-losing athletic department is to encourage donations to the athletic department.
Some Vols fan paid for a bot army to post that hundreds of times tonight.
Syracuse had their OC and DC get poached today.
Sad face.
Fresno State has sold out their Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl ticket allotment, and are asking the bowl for more.
Some Vols fan paid for a bot army to post that hundreds of times tonight. :)
Hah, no. I do think Hooker got screwed. (I'm going to miss the Hooker puns btw).
In other Vols award news, Jalin Hyatt won the Biletnikoff for the best WR.
I swear this dude always looks like he just woke up. Such a chill guy for someone so fast.
Don't waste your time watching this whole interview, just skip around and look at his answers, not for the content, but for the tone, his eyes, etc. Nice suit, though. Touch of orange on the lapel. Think he finally signed an NIL deal with Hyatt. It included gift cards for all the players/families for the hotels to assist with bowl travel.
An M1 Abrams tank is 11 yards long. Army has advanced the ball the equivalent length of 3 of these at halftime, in a game they are winning.
