And nobody is ever dead in comics.

Wait. Why do they actually look like Transformers now?

At least it's not coming out on my birthday this time. Crystal Skull was a really sh*tty birthday present.

First, I thought we all agreed to let Harrison Ford smoke weed and crash planes in peace. Just allow him to live the dream, for chrissake!

Second, oh, good, the same "single piano note slowed down version of the recognizable theme, leading into a swelling 'epic' version of the theme that sounds nothing like the real theme" cliche that also appears in the Super Mario trailer!

Obligatory funny:

They already did in Bumblebee.

Just incase anyone, like me, didn’t know the true story that Cocaine Bear is extremely loosely based on, here it is.

Another one huh? Hollywood has yet to make a better one than the Russian version.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Huh. I found that trailer a bit underwhelming.

I’m still all in on the movie though. In fact, I’d rather they not spoil the whole thing in a trailer.

The Whale.
*looks amazing

The only thing that bugged me -

Spoiler:

the bit at the end where he says "he needs to know there is one thing he has done right in his life"...so really it is all about him and his personal need for some validation. If feels like a rather selfish goal

Unless the trailer's hiding a twist that makes it something more, this seems like an interesting "What if?" and thereafter a predictable retread of dinosaur movies. I'm not sure Adam Driver needs a paycheck, and seems to pick interesting roles, so I'd give it a go just on that alone.

to be fair every actor does work for a paycheck...

In the first few seconds I thought I was watching a remake of Pitch Black.

Hey remember when the Scifi channel would air like six hours of these movies on Saturday afternoons... the good old days.

He may be a complete wacko but I do love Tom's movies.

I love how, after the stunts, one of the first things he does is to thank his stunt crew.

The writing and directing chops behind this make this a must watch.

I would not have expected a 2001 reference in a Barbie movie. Might have to check it out.

That looks so much more interesting than I expected.

gory

Evil Dead Rise

Renfield trailer:

I thoroughly enjoyed this trailer. Having seen it, I think I've seen A) Pretty much the whole movie and B) every good scene in the movie.

But, it was a pretty great two and a half minutes!

Nic Cage has completely leaned into the crazy and I'm here to enjoy every movie that comes out of that.

Looks good. I hope it will be....so often recently Marvel movies have been about setting things up and huge consequences, etc.

Ari Aster's new one
