Post a picture, entertain me!

So that's the kind of roadside picnic the Strugatskys referred to?

I'd imagined something further away from the road and with less furniture.

I get that reference:)

That station wagon is amazing and we still do this on vacations. Road side or park picnics & pack some food. Might as well enjoy some of your trip places!

That book was NOT what I was expecting. Turns out it's not at all similar to the STALKER games.

Never knew it had a name!

Pareidolia - the tendency to perceive a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern.

That's in Ghent! If I'm not mistaken, that's the Sint Baafs Cathedral outside.

Everybody was Kung-Fu fighting.

They had to be fast as lightning.

It was a little bit frightening.

But also, there was lead in gasoline and paint.

"everybody was Kung-fu fighting"

No but seriously, you're right. The 70s was when martial arts became a commonplace thing in the US, in no small part due to one man, Bruce Lee.

Yep, this isn't even the first ad for specially made kicking pants I've seen. I think Chuck Norris even had some kind of endorsement for them(think his were jeans).

He's pining for the fjords.

To be honest, the kicking pants thing is kind of appealing to me. For some reason a lot of clothing manufacturers don't seem to understand that people want to actually move their legs a bit while wearing pants.

Duluth Trading Company pants have the extra ball space patch as pictured in the first Chuck Norris spready.

The golfing pants I use are exceptionally comfortable.

Help, I don't get it

I think the fish/whale carcass is Trump, and this is Twitter bringing him back

Fail whale?

Something about Moby Dick?

What are all the little scrabble letters about?

EDIT:

Oh right, for a while Twitter had a 500 error page that was little red birds lifting a white whale. It is a Fail Whale reference.

Some of you will get this

"God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly..."
