Isn't it part of this 6-pack?

Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition - $9.99

Ah, in that case we can add it to the list. I missed that when I was looking last night.

If anyone wants to vote for this now, then please edit your existing posts rather than posting again. I’ll pick it up when I review it all tonight.

So, the lesson of setting up new voting rounds for this club is not to do it at midnight when you've been up trying to blast through Baldur's Gate 2 to meet the deadline. I think I'm not going to make it but we'll see how we go.

After 24 hours - more or less - we now have 10 games to choose from (not 8 like I originally said. Ho hum. I was tired) and after 13 voters they currently look like this:

Results So Far:

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire: 10 Votes
Titan Quest: 8 Votes
Fallout: New Vegas 7 Votes
Vampyr: 7 Votes
Star Traders: Frontiers 7 votes
Costume Party: 6 Votes
Gamedec: 6 Votes
Legend of Grimrock: 6 Votes
Might & Magic IV - V: 5 Votes
Kenshi: 4 Votes

That's a good spread of votes across all the games which is good to see. Every games has had multiple votes! Still plenty of time for Legion to form a silent Kenshi army and sweep all before him.

The Nominees:

Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition - £17.99 / $19.99 43.5 Hrs
Costume Quest - £6.99 / $9.99 6.5 Hrs
Fallout: New Vegas - £7.99 / $9.99 59.5 Hrs
Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition - £8.59 / $9.99 74.5 Hrs
Vampyr - £34.99 / $39.99 28.5 Hrs
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire - £29.99 / $39.99 60.5 Hrs
Gamedec - £25.99 / $29.99 14.5 Hrs
Legend of Grimrock - £10.99 / $14.99 20.5 Hrs
Kenshi - £22.99 / $25.99 151 Hrs
Star Traders: Frontiers - £11.99 / $14.99 31 Hrs

Updated with the correct information.

Quick list for easy voting:

Titan Quest
Costume Quest
Fallout: New Vegas
Might & Magic IV - V
Vampyr
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire

Kenshi
Star Traders: Frontiers

For the Record, my Votes are:

Titan Quest
Fallout: New Vegas
Might & Magic IV - V
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Gamedec

Kenshi non-voters will be put on The List for future punishment.

And The List. Always The List.

Titan Quest
Costume Quest
Fallout: New Vegas
Might & Magic IV - V
Vampyr

Into the fray!

Might & Magic IV - V
Fallout: New Vegas
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Legend of Grimrock
Kenshi
Gamedec

Not voting, but if you folks end up picking World of Xeen then dangit, I'm hopping over here from the JRPG club this quarter, that's been on my to-do list forever

...well, unless they pick Ogre Battle, then I'm stuck with a two-fer...

So with a little over 24 hours to go, voting currently looks like this:

Results So Far:

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire: 12 Votes
Titan Quest: 10 Votes
Fallout: New Vegas 10 Votes
Vampyr: 10 Votes
Gamedec: 9 Votes
Might & Magic IV - V: 8 Votes
Legend of Grimrock: 8 Votes
Star Traders: Frontiers 8 votes
Costume Party: 7 Votes
Kenshi: 5 Votes

While every game has had at least one vote, the big mover is Gamedec which currently places the game above the cut - just - for the next round. Everything below that currently needs votes to survive.

Half Hour to go. Any more voters?

I vote Kenshi 7 more times.

If only that were in the rules.........

So, final votes remain as they were 24 hours previously:

Final Results:

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire: 12 Votes
Titan Quest: 10 Votes
Fallout: New Vegas 10 Votes
Vampyr: 10 Votes
Gamedec: 9 Votes
Might & Magic IV - V: 8 Votes
Legend of Grimrock: 8 Votes
Star Traders: Frontiers 8 votes
Costume Party: 7 Votes
Kenshi: 5 Votes

On this basis we will be taking 5 games into the Ranked Choice Voting round. With Might & Magic, Grimrock and Star Traders all sitting on 8 votes, we can't carry them all forward so as per the rules will eliminate them instead. Harsh but fair. Kenshi alas, never got close.

I'll post up the Ranked Choice information in a moment when I've got it all sorted out.

Game 20 Ranked Choice Voting

In this round, please rank the following five games in order of your preference for play. Please vote based on what you'll play with the group. You do not have to rank every game.

I will bring the closing date for this one day forward and run this round of voting will run until 9pm GMT (4pm EST) on Thursday 29th September. This is mostly because I’m not around Friday evening, so it’ll give me time to process the voting and let everyone get started on the 1st October – on time for a change! It still gives us 4 days of voting so I plenty of time for everyone to be involved.

The Candidates

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire - £29.99 / $39.99 60.5 Hrs
Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition - £17.99 / $19.99 43.5 Hrs
Fallout: New Vegas - £7.99 / $9.99 59.5 Hrs
Vampyr - £34.99 / $39.99 28.5 Hrs
Gamedec - £25.99 / $29.99 14.5 Hrs

Quick List for Ease of Voting

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Titan Quest
Fallout: New Vegas
Vampyr
Gamedec

How to Vote

1. Please rank the candidates in your order of preference of play, with the game you want to play the most at the top of your list.

2. You may rank as many games as you’d like. You do not need to rank all the games. However, keep in mind that a game in the bottom half of your ranking could win. Ranking at least all the games you would play is a good idea.

3. If you do not want to rank a particular game, please make sure to delete/omit it from your list. (Don’t simply leave the unranked games at the bottom of your list.)

How We’ll Determine a Winner - Elimination Style

Basically, we’ll keep running through the rankings, eliminating the game with the lowest number of top-preference votes, until we have one game that has gotten a majority of the votes. I could write a bazillion words to explain details, but this one-minute video does it better than that:

*For elimination rounds, if we have ties at the bottom of the voting pile, I'll break them by looking at second place votes, so we only eliminate one game each elimination round.

You know what to do.

1. Fallout New Vegas
2. Titan Quest

Vampyr ('tis the season)
Gamedec
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
