What are you playing this weekend?

I traded one "code" game for another. Never got around to putting any time in to Code Vein. I got distracted by Cross Code. There was a big sale for it (Steam?) where it was like $10 for everything but the soundtrack. Tried the demo to check it out and was immediately drawn in. So picked up the full game.

I got that too. It might be my PC game to play. Vein is on the wishlist though

I'll be, once again, making a bee-line towards the finish - or first ending, at least - in Fell Seal. Might sprinkle in some Kirby: Planet Robobot (late 3DS purchase; a charmer), and maybe a little smattering of other portable titles that I might be able to play with one hand cause tattoo time on my left arm.

Amazing cultivation simulator - an ancient Chinese wuxia (fantasy) Rimworld/DF like game just on Games Pass. It's so obscure in its systems but seems like a lot of hours of play in it.

Elden Ring and Xenoblade Chronicles 2

This again, probably more Xenoblade though as it's a lot easier to play when you're mentally exhausted.

I've also been playing Astalon: Tears of the Earth, which is a great metroidvania that came out last year.

I'm getting close to wrapping up Xenoblade 3; like, it's clear I'm near the very end of the game, which also means there are going to be mountains of cutscenes, which means I have to really pick my spots when I try to play it. Hope to get through it this weekend.

I played that for a few hours and had no idea what I was doing but I enjoyed it immensely.

I started up Spiritfarer on Switch. It's delightful.

Can’t wait to hear your take on it as you really get into it. One of my absolute favorite games of the past couple years.

It's getting included in the ps+ collection next week, looking forward to trying this one, had my eye on it for a while.

I'll be playing some Fell Seal and might pick up Unpacking.

SAME! Reading Chinese wuxia novels have me context but no functional knowledge for the game. This sort of thing requires a wiki or guide.

At the moment I seem to be visiting farm shops and watching back to back movies. I’m sure I’ll play something tomorrow.

Finished the Iki Island expansion for Ghost of Tsushima. It's a nice refinement of the base game, looks beautiful on PS5. Worth your time if you have the version of the game that includes it!

Started up Little Nightmares last night as a palate cleanser while I try to decide what to start on next.

Playing and streaming some more Spiritfarer. Grinding some more for cheevos in Touken Ranbu Musou. Possibly some more coop Saints Row The Third Remastered tonight.

Steelrising complete. Now to wait for NG+ to be added.

I feel like I haven't been playing too much outside of League of Legends. I love having a game like that in which I can constantly learn and improve. Muting the community has helped me find more fun in seeing my individual progress without others *ahem* spelling out all of my mistakes for me.

I've been trying to focus on some singleplayer games. Live a Live is probably the only thing I'm truly set on finishing right now. It has its ups and downs, not every chapter is as good as the last, but I've beaten 4-5 now and am in Edo Japan now, which is easily my favourite! I often forget that this is a 20-something year-old game!

I didn't touch The Outer Worlds like I thought, but did sink 12 hours into Cult of the Lamb... which completed the game.

It's a great game with a pretty satisfying loop! There's some unfortunate bugs that made me have to reboot it a couple times, but a wonderful little indie. Not too long.

It is Friday

I'll continue leveling Monk in Final Fantasy XIV. I also want to make more time for Return to Monkey Island.

Monster Hunter Rise with the Friday GWJ group, and then more Gravity Rush 2.

With Xenoblade 3 completed, and several of the clubs voting on their Q4 games, I'm in a bit of a holding pattern since I don't want to start anything new. That said, I'll probably go back to chipping away at the Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC, since I want to try to do all the story stuff in that game before GOTY time.

I'm about five hours in with Immortals Fenyx Rising and enjoying it so far. Apparently it's a 40-hour game, so I'll probably drop off at some point (anything more than 20 hours tends to be a challenge for me, unless I become obsessed with a game), but it's fun for now. My first time playing an Ubisoft RPG.

Probably a ton of Taxinaut. I am definitely hooked.

I picked up a copy of Metal: Hellsinger last night, and that is definitely getting some more play time. That game is so exhilarating to play. I love Troy Baker doing his best Sam Elliot, too. That's a delightful touch. Aside from that? The new DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is likely to get some time, as is Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters.

FOR KISLEV

Unless something comes up, I dug out my copy of Tales of Arise my wife got me a birthday or two ago. May be time to put it in my PS5.

No.

THE NATION CALLS.

Playing and loving Return to Monkey Island. The only disappointment is the lack of red herrings.

Trails in the Sky SC.

Trying to finish Live a Live before the next JRPG club game.

It's an interesting experience. While not always fun, it's intriguing and...enriching? It's nice to enjoy this odd piece of JRPG history. All chapters done now, moving onto the final two "hidden" sections.

Prodding at Deathloop but it's not really doing it for me at the moment.

And somehow started replaying FFX, for the first time since it came out. Tidus used to really annoy me, but now he just seems like part of the charm. And I forgot how godly the soundtrack is!

Resident Evil 2 Remake and Death Road to Canada.
