Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr (Catch All)

Yup, Ordos_GWJ. Just kicked a couple of people who've not logged in in years so there should be room.

Can console players join up or is it PC only?

PC only, I believe consoles have their own cabals.

Boo!

How is this still happening in 2022? Cross platform multiplayer has been going on for ~5 years and that has to be many orders of magnitude harder than cross platform cabals would be.

No idea honestly. I can't imagine it's an easy thing to implement.

Totally lost track of my current playthrough. How much more time remaining in the current Season?

Oh probably several months at least.

Pretty sure that each platform has its own servers to store information. The PC one is probably a service that the publisher or dev engages, but the console ones are services offered by the console vendor. So you need a high speed connection between them, and you probably have to pay to export and import data (because Cloud), and console vendor doesn't like the idea that this may move players to PC, while the PC side fears the same on the console side, and then there's licensing issues potentially...

Went ahead and applied to the Cabal. Started a new seasonal character.

Just started playing this (Diablo in 40K? SOLD). Quick question: what is the importance of significance and adeptus administratum when selecting a mission off the star map?

Sorry I don't get the question?

Like when you go to the star map and it shows you the different planets it'll rank them as "Significance 1" and "Adeptus Administratum 3" and so on.

Wait aren't those the name of the planets?

I think the first one is difficulty level and the 2nd is faction level. It's been so long since i played i can't remember the significance of factions.

That sounds right. I just assumed higher numbers mean more difficulty but wanted to know if I missed anything.

I think the Significance is just flavor text, but maybe it affects the base influence you earn doing missions. The World Type affects the sort of map environments that are generated. There's not a specific "difficulty" level, but your level compared to the mission level is probably the biggest factor in difficulty. The mission level when browsing the map directly is always within a few levels of the the system's level, and those missions show up as white. Missions generated via other means can show up in any system and are based on your current level. They'll also be in a different color (purple for campaign missions, green for intel, etc.).

Adeptus Administratum is one of the factions in the game. If you back out to the subsector view and click on a system, you'll see a list of factions in the system. The Heroic Deed "Caligari Pilgrimage" used to require you to do 100 missions for the Ecclesiarchy. You had to find systems that had their faction, then go through the planet/stations/etc., and try to find a mission that would count. It was very tedious, so at one point they reduced the requirement, and eventually they just outright changed it to "Complete 3 Void Crusades". I don't think faction influence affects anything at the moment. (Not to be confused with your reputation with the 3 Ordos, which doesn't even show up until near the end of the expansion campaign.)

Apologies, I was way off the mark on this one.

Humble has the complete collection for its usual lowest price of $19.99, or $16.39 if you're a Choice member.

I love the continuing support this game has gotten.. I just wish they were faster in bringing those updates and seasons to the console versions.

Does the sister cost money? Or is it included in the gold edition or purchasers of the last expansion.

C'mon man.

*Cavill's Witcher grunt sound effect*

I have three weeks of intensive work certifications to do starting 11/29.

You all have fun!

Wait, Steam only? I'm saved! No missing out for me on Xbox.

THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!

With the new DLC coming out next week, the currently-complete collection is the cheapest it's ever been. Never been a better time to dive in:

The fact that I just finished the Eisenhorn series and am working through the Ravenor books right now has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I will return to this game at some point.

Is there a GWJ cabal for this on PC? I just got that version in anticipation of the Battle Sisters update and would like to be invited if possible?

You have to seek it out and apply but there should be room. Just look for GWJ.

Thanks. Will do.

Woohoo!
