Name that GAME Thread

CptDomano & Pink Stripes are correct. The game has a dumb name, but I had a lot of fun with it back in the early 90s.

I just remembered that I posted the last image and I'm not sure if there's no takers or it got hidden in the previous page. If there's not guesses, I'll give it up.

Wankin alludes to Leisure Suit Larry...
But I also want to say Sam and Max

This is a little more recent, it is a 2020 game.

Afterparty?

Nope!

Correct!

So I post one now, right?

Alright, let's do this.

Pretty sure I played that as a kid, and if I guessed I may get close to the title.

Harry Headline and the Great Something Something

So close! I'll give it to you.

Actually, here...

Yeah, I was gonna say, isn't there a something something sequel?

Free play!!!

This one takes me back a bit...

I'm mixing up a couple of different helicopter games but I'll say LHX Attack Chopper.

I vividly remember that game and can't think of the name for the life of me.

Comanche? Apache?

LHX Attack Chopper is correct! Pretty amazing that they were able to do this on a Sega Genesis.

I still have F-22 Interceptor for Genesis. Also impressed that it works, but I never played much of it. Not sure how the controls could possibly work for it, especially if you only had the 3 button pad.

Then again, they made Wing Commander work well enough on the SNES that teenage me was able to finish it....

Nice. I was also thinking of Apache and Comanche but I remembered those having a mode detailed view of the cockpit so I went with LHX. Now, in sticking with the chopper theme:

That looks like SimCopter. Free play if right.

That's correct!

This is the best 'helicopter' I've got right now, although a few more are coming to mind, but they all just simply have helicopters in a bigger game.

Pilotwings 64?

Correct!

I was amazed at how much the UI fills the screen looking at it now.

Ok, I'm worried this is a bit of a deep cut but let's see:

Silkworm!

I remember longingly watching the attract loops of this on the arcade machines and thinking of how much better it looked than my dinky c64 version.

Yes! Great coop game.

Well, since helicopters are the new theme, I present another great coop game with them:

Too obscure, apparently.
It's an arcade game from 2001 (a sequel to a 1997 arcade game), that was ported to Dreamcast in Japan the same year. 17 years later it came to Switch, and then PC, though the PC port is said to be borderline unplayable.

I'll wait a bit and then give the answer.
