Nintendo Switch Catch-All 2.0

Again fixture S1 is the only way I play Switch handheld for years now. Joycons do suck yes

The Hori Split Pad Pro is also a great solution for handheld mode.

If by "play", you mean "spend hours configuring the emulator to run it correctly", then no thanks, no way, nuh-uh, ain't no-one got the time for that.

Ya same reason I love gyro controls but getting them working on Windows…I’ll stick with mouse, sorry, thanks. If only Microsoft would make some hardware relevant for after 2012…

lol. Tell me you've never used Yuzu without telling me you've never used Yuzu.

lol. Tell me you've never used Yuzu without telling me you've never used Yuzu.

I've eaten yuzu. Does that count as "used"?

Also, turns out the "Quickstart Guide" for Yuzu (the emulator not the fruit) is literally 15 pages long, so imma stand by my initial assertion of fuuuuuck dat.

That "quick start" guide is basically "here's what you do to dump files off a real Switch, when everyone that actually uses this emulator just goes and downloads a copy of the files instead".

Copy those files into a folder and congrats, you can skip those 15 pages.

The real Yuzu setup guide is this, ie "download emulator, download these two files, and here's a couple settings depending on what GPU you have".

Just saw that Live a Live got a remake. Just watching the trailer filled me with so much nostalgia that I started looking to see if I could rent a switch after humming along with the music. Sadly the yuzu emulation for it is a little crashy. Either gonna have to rent or resist the urge to play it now and hope it gets ported to pc.

Highly recommend the game. The original may be my favorite of the jrpgs. But I'm a FF8 fan so I'm probable odd regardless.

*this just arrived and is charging but it will have to be pretty nice to sue for me to keep it.
It feels very, very light and cheap compared to the other controllers I have used - but it is half the cost of the other controllers so I suppose that is reasonable.

I will post a bit more after I use it.

Just bought this controller

I love buying accessories. I might have an addiction because two pages ago you will see I bought a different one!

Here is review if you are interested. It is cheaper than the one I bought before so people might be interested.

Huh, for those of you whose Switch leaves the dock…

Oh my, that is just ridiculous.

Treehouse live with Splatoon and Harvestella starting now

OMG splatana!

Demo download is active. Splatfest from 9-9 on Saturday

So as much as I love the Pro controller I got tired of balancing it with the mount thing, so after doing some research I got the Hori Split Pad Pro

https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Swit...

And holy sh*t it is f*cking nice. So comfortable, fits like a glove and super lovely buttons and sticks.

Yeah I liked mine a lot until the trigger buttons broke after 3 months. I wasn't playing that much Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, jeez.

3 months? Yikes.

Yeah I tried using a mount with the pro controller a couple times. And I've tried that with my cell phone with PS4 and PS5 controllers. I just don't like the way the weight is distributed. I now use Backbone with my phone and got a Skull & Co grip for my Switch that is super comfortable.

Hori has a new smaller split pad that's get me interested. I want to wait for people to get their hands on it before I buy one though.

I am buying that as soon as it appears in the us Amazon store. It looks great

Would you look at that. Direct tomorrow at 10:00 AM Eastern.

My birthday this week. I might just buy whatever surprise game they release tomorrow.

Hmm Pikmin Go basically?

Ah and Pikmin 4 in 2023

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in May

Front Mission! All three of the games.

And Nov 1 for the first one.

And FM3 is the one that everyone says is the best. Definitely happy to hear that the first three are being remade.

A western release of Fatal Frame 4? Yes, please!

So excited about Front Mission. I played 3 on my PS3 and loved it but I REALLY loved the DS version.

I'm loving the regular split pad I got a couple of weeks ago. Perfect size for my slightly larger hands.

*looks at the 95% gray pictures*

*looks over at his purple and yellow joycons*

Don't get me wrong, the yellow sticks do look nice with that gray, but...

They chose the wrong headline for the color they got sent.
