Not sure if I've missed something obvious but how do I build a teleport circle? The option doesn't show up in the build list.

You’ll need to develop one of your outposts to a bastion before you can build one there. You should be able to build one from the start in Drezen.
Good riddence
Spoiler:Camellia
you won't be missed.
AGREED. That was very satisfying.
Act 3 of this game is dragging. I'm waiting for someone to come to Drezen to unlock something, and in the meantime I'm getting this piecemeal drip of companion personal quests to finish.
I'm just about sustaining 2 level 8 armies, but I can't tell if it's my economy or the game gating proceedings a little that I just don't seem to be able to get them any higher. I could go all in on one army though I guess, but So long as I control the fight I can get through anything to level 10 with no or minimal losses. I did have to ditch one of my generals though after I realised that having a caster general who can heal and throw fireballs is much much much much much much better than any sort of combat focused general who can only really do combat based buffs. That was mildly annoying to put it lightly. I had one fight were he was getting routinely beaten, so I diverted my other army to that fight and won it in 2 turns thanks to fireballs.
Today's patch fixes the biggest bugaboo I had with the current state of the game -
"It was impossible to walk through open doors in turn-based mode at the locations which consisted of many parts, after fighting in one area part and then transitioning to another and starting a combat there – fixed."
Sure, I had a workaround - switch to RTWP get my party repositioned correctly switch back to turn based, but it was a royal pain. Still no fix for mounted characters not being able to pick stuff up though. Since it's been around since Day 1, I have to assume it's by design or more likely just really hard to figure out/fix.
So an NPC called Chivarro who should be at a certain brothel isn't there. This is potentially game breaking as I need to speak to her for several quests.
---Edit---
Found her. She was in the
slave market.
So, I've been watching build videos by CRPG Bro. I highly recommend watching his build videos because not only is it a list of feats & abilities to take, he explains fairly in depth why he takes each one, goes over gear, mythic path, alternate choices, and playstyle. I finally understand how critical range works. Downside is there not a spreadsheet to quickly check on level up - at least his videos are all timestamped with levels so it's not that onerous to pull up where you want.
Unlike neoseeker, it's less obsessively min/maxed, but he does play out every build, so it's not just theory crafting.
Is that the guy that had the video on how a level 2 character can kill any creature by putting it in a bag of holding in a bag of holding? (Something something double void banishes to the void plane which instantly eradicates things...)
edit: NM, that guy is all D&D...

Nice thank you! On a related note, does anyone have a good build for a barbarian? I’ve been inspired by the Northman movie to role a rough and tumble Conan-style hero since I’m kinda bored with my pally.
Into Act 4. I note with some relief there’s no crusade management, but on the other hand my enthusiasm is flagging.
Does it pick up?
I found the Act 4 side quests to be a lot of fun.
Another fun thing is when I get Woljif to cast Mass Dimension Door and my entire party instantly surrounds the enemy.

Yeah, the end (second half, really) of act 4 and the beginning of act 5 are some of the most dramatic and intense moments of the whole thing. Some very cool stuff happens.
But yeah, the beginning of act 4 is pretty slow.

Hmmm. Is it particularly long Act 4? I seem to have spent a very time in a Pathfinder game again. I'm wondering if I step away for a bit now it would be the right approach or not, or grit my teeth and see if it rekindles my desire to play it. I had to really force myself through the final acts of Kingmaker, I'm just thinking a break now might be the better idea

You can probably take a break for a bit, but there's a point that comes around where things are flowing so rapidly and dramatically that I struggled to find a spot to save and end a session.
Ok I really wasn't expecting
Lann
to die. That really sucks. They were one of my best fighters and I also relied on them for Athletic and mobility checks

It's possible to save them, but yeah, that loss stings in multiple ways if it happens. That character is both likeable and useful, in and out of combat.

I always treated them with respect, encouraged them to improve and respected their wishes. I can't think of anything else I could have done to prevent it.

This one sucks and is a bug imo because it’s basically a companion quest that never shows up in your log
You need to get Lann and Mom to hug it out in Drezen
Failing that you just have to
not let Lann go take on the big bad alone
Hmm. I did pass a lot of messages between Lann and his mum but he did not want to talk to her.
And finished. This was my second playthrough to get to the end, I had a few failed attempts prior to this. I went with a melee focused party maximizing crits and attacks of opportunity. It was ridiculously powerful. Went Trickster which really synergized well with the party strategy, but I didn't really like the choices/mythic quests involved for it.
My favorite moment is probably the good end of act 4
Coming back to Nexus and getting to watch my allies kick demon butt. Especially "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" Xorges. My previous run through, I didn't gather enough groups of allies and they got overrun /wiped out
I started a new game and became a Litch Sorcerer.
(Un)life is good.
Does anyone know exactly where
Wenduag's
stash is?
Started a new solo playthrough the other day.
It is pretty incredible.
I am level 7.5 after Defender's Heart. The battle seemed to trigger early since I was barely able to do more than the tiefling quest before it started. Thankfully most of the other stuff I was able to do before grey garrison.
The character I made is a dual throwing axe build, popular on YT. It is one dip rowdy, 2 dip witch of the veil (concealment is REALLY powerful) and the rest mutation warrior. So far, so good
Posting here because it's Owlcat, but it looks like their next game will be a Space based game (presumably an rpg). Pazio have said its nothing to do with their IP, so it isn't Starfinder.
Bummer, I had seen that a few days ago and hoped that more info was being posted.
I am bummed it won't be Starfinder (or pathfinder as Paizo confirmed it is not one of t heir products)
But, if it is Spelljammer... Holy crap will I be excited!
Really not a fan of that.
Owlcat has made me enough of a fan that I will look at anything they make however.
Rogue Trader!
Really not a fan of that.
I'm genuinely curious what's not clicking with you. Are you able to elaborate? Just not into 40k?
Looks like they are going fully turn based this time...
At least from what was teased the setup seemed to be too closed in for RTWP to make too much of a difference.
I am okay with that but I just worry about the scope. Wrath was huge and took dozens of hours even with RTWP. If it is a similar scope and turn based only, I won't have any chance to finish half of it
Rogue Trader has its own rpg mechanics right? Its not typical d20 or like pathfinder is it? I'm asking because I am trying to gauge if they have to scrap the Wrath engine or are going to be able to slap a WH40K coat of paint on it...
Just not into 40k?
Yeah.

Also this, while the turnbased system in Wrath of the Rightheous worked fine, and I ended up using it regularly, as it often made fights easier, I overall prefer RTwP.
Especially due to it slowing down the game a lot less.
