NFL 2021: The playoffs thread

I always kinda thought Bicep Brian was already Jake from State Farm.

Jake's been jacked these last couple years! Why they bring in another dude to make him seem smaller? He's been more jacked than Chris Paul or Qaaron (maybe not Patrick).

Yes. Good. Make it fun.

f*cking overtime crap.

yes, but at least the Bengals seem to be pretty good at stopping Master Chief. Could get interesting.

This aged well.

Patrick McChokes.

Joe!!’

Hell yeah! Cincinnati fans deserve something good after all the years of alternating mediocrity and hot garbage.

Karma.

Bengals in the SUPER BOWL?!?!?

Patrick Mahomes is cementing his AFC Aaron Rodgers status.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mahomes' last five plays:
--Sacked for a relatively short loss.
--Sacked for a long loss and fumbles.
--Overthrows receiver badly on out route that easily could have been a pick-six.
--Hits Bengals CB in the hands on what should have been a pick-six.
--"F*ck it, I'm going deep" to a covered WR on a ball that was picked.

Well, now I'm aboard the 49ers-Bungles rematch train.

Andy Reid's bad juju clock management has now passed onto Mahomes' late game thought process.

Looks like we still have a chance to get a first-time Super Bowl winner.

Here are the teams who have never won one:

Vikings (4 appearances), Bills (4), Bengals (2), Panthers (2), Falcons (2), Chargers (1), Titans (1), Cardinals (1), Browns (0), Lions (0), Texans (0), Jags (0)

Bengals had the fourth longest SB drought (since the 1988 season). Only the Jets (1968), Vikings (1976) and Dolphins (1984) are drought-ier.

1H: 18-21, 220, 3 TD, 0 INT, 149.9 rating
2H: 8-18, 55, 0 TD, 2 INT, 12.3 rating

Is there a vaccination for this? Did Mahomes not get his booster for REIDVID?

I'm so dumb. I looked at that and thought, "wait, the LA Rams have never won a Super Bowl!". Then I remembered St. Louis.

If Lamar ever did that... whoo boy, would never hear the end of it, how he shouldn't even be a starting QB...

With Tom Brady’s retirement, Jimmy Garoppolo is now the only QB in the NFL with multiple Super Bowl rings

There are actually three Super Bowl rings in the 49ers QB room.

The third belongs to Nate Sudfeld.

Jimmie Ward! Hot streak

It's their moment. Let them have it.

Also, I cannot stop thinking about the drive the Chiefs botched at the end of the 1st half.

Yeah, no kidding. Take the 3 points. They didn't get those 3 points until the final play of regulation.

Legitimate question, has any of this football game been on TV? Every time I switch back over to Fox it's commercials. I stay there for a few minutes and go to another channel because I'm bored of commercials. Haven't seen a minute of this game.

I've already washed the dishes and done three loads of laundry during commercials today.

That's just so silly. Stafford clearly dropped the ball. Sure forward motion but clumsy fingers. Literally a fumble but not by the rules
