EDIT:

Ja Morant for NASA.

JA!

And Klay, good grief.

Oh, so Space Jam is real, apparently.

Hey, when we upgrade to the new Drupal, can we like a post more than once?

It’s a great description. That block seriously looked like something out of Slam Dunk Ernest, Teen Wolf, Space Jam or NBA Jam. Just crazy.

Someone on Twitter said that it looks like when a kid dunks in a children's movie, so they put the actor on wires so he keeps on going up and up...

....except the movie looks more realistic.

NBA Jam! That's what I couldn't put my finger on. That's exactly it.

.

The Bucks are making a joke of this game. Up like 20 in the first quarter and just increased from there.

A shame the NBA's highlights almost never show misses because this is the perfect metaphor for the Lakers' last offseason.

From last night - Scottie Barnes dunk

Looking like one of the smartest picks in an NBA draft in a while.

Pulled from this light piece on Ja Morant from Slate.

I feel like if Michael Jordan had never happened we would look at Ja Morant much the way fans looked at Jordan in his early years. Just a fearless competitor out of the shoot and an incredible athlete. Morant is everything I liked about Westbrook with none of the baggage. He knows how to play off the ball and be productive off the ball. He's a great teammate. He can shoot. He's just awesome.

Last night I was bored with the NFL game, so I went to league pass. Rather than watching whatever game was live I just started up the Grizzlies game from the beginning even though I knew the outcome. And that wasn't the first time. I'm starting to watch the Grizz for the fun of watching the team and him, regardless of whether the game is already over.

Yeah they are a fun team to watch, both for the skills and for the guys just seem to enjoy playing with each other. I hope they don't mess it up by trading away a bunch of players.

Did he dunk it up? Lol.

Fun theory I think I heard while half listening to Bill Simmons podcast: Nets should tank for a 5-6 seed so that they can have Kyrie Irving for any potential Game 7s

I really want a Nets-Raptors series (I'd the Raptors actually make the playoffs). Kyrie would be available for 0 games in it.

I don't think the Nets are going to need to tank to get a 5 seed... it will just happen naturally.

The same guy who was putting up numbers last year too.

He’s back, baby!

FYI, Thinking Basketball is a great YT channel if you're a fan. Along with JxmyHighroller.

I must say, this is the most fun I have had watching the Cavs in years, and I don't even need to pretend Kyrie isn't on the team.

WTF

They were down 8 with 30 seconds left!
