NFL 2021: The Week 18 (!!!) thread

Are we still saying Jones for Rookie of the Year?

Pretty sure Chase took it away a couple weeks ago.

Yey, the Browns won a meaningless football game to worsen our draft position!

Remind me, is the SNF game meaningless now?

Maybe for the Raiders it is?

It isn't. Whoever loses is still out. They're still both in with a tie.

So injured Jimmy G is considered better than 100% Trey Lance.

Yeah, so far that is not looking like the right decision.

I was very happy Trey was playing the last 2 games of the season. Especially after he looked solid last week.

And then they said Jimmy might come back... and I was like why?

Ugh.

Tyson Hill 7-9 for 107 and a TD. Saints up 17-6. Yuck.

Is Deebo Samuel the best QB on the Niners?

Sorta like how the Panthers consider HEY DARNOLD to be the better option on 4th and goal from the 1 instead of their other QB -- you know, the greatest short-yardage QB threat in the history of football.

Also, too: Go Niners!

10 runs and 1 pass by WR scoring drive for the Niners.

So yeah Jimmy isn't healthy or whatever. But it's working anyway

Something about getting the ball in your best players hands?

Deebo doing it all

Sure let's stop calling contact to QB head in the 4th quarter of week 18 like we've been calling it all season. f*ck

OVERTIME

Niners and Rams should just do the kneeldowns for a tie, they both get their playoff spots/seedings in that scenario.

EDIT: Apparently not, Joe Buck correcting himself after the break. Too bad.

No, I think kneeldown fest is tonight. If Vegas and LAC are smart... which I doubt they are.

Cam Akers might not be ready to play. Maaaaybe needs a few more weeks to be himself.

One cheek equals two feet!

Legion, both your teams won. Has that happened... ever?

PLAYOFF BOUND SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

It's rare!

Whew

NFL.com has updated their playoff seeding, and they still have the Saints listed as "In the Hunt".

NFL.com getting into the Colts action today:

Just like that, as NFL Network's Rich Eisen put it, Indy went from the team nobody wanted to see in the playoffs to a team nobody is seeing in the playoffs.

No only did Indy lose but it wasn't even close.

NFL never ceases to amaze me on how any team can win. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised really as Carson Wentz tried to do stuff and it epically imploded.

Sadly, Sad Jalen's team still won their division.

Sad Cardinals.

How on the world is that DPI against the Chargers. The ball was nowhere near the receiver.

What's happened to Josh Jacobs? I honestly thought he'd be gameplan and OL independent from a running perspective yet he's been...less than stellar. Injuries?

Ouch, #93 Justin Jones had that ball in his hands and could not quite put it away.

Come on Chargers, tie this up. I want more chaos.
