What are you playing this weekend?

Prey I am making my way through it. But I keep encountering a Nightmare in the same area. Previously I could escape the Nightmare and it seemed to move on to a different location on the map. This one just continually is hanging out in the same area, even after I escape him. I am not quite sure how to proceed.

Deathloop and Resident Evil 7.

I'm working my way through Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker's story, after only just starting a few days ago. Meanwhile, I'll probably poke on Dungeon Encounters.

Nearly done with Resident Evil 0 and I think I'm half way done with Super Mario Odyssey. And sprinkles of SOTN. Been trying to finish games I started. However, I have completed SOTN multiple times.

Working that muscle memory in some Street Fighter V challenges.

Fire up the campaign for Halo: Infinite?

Probably do some more Lego: Batman 2 with my son.

Scratch that. SO wanted to get away this weekend so Trails in Cold Steel 3.

FFXIV ENDWALKER main story mostly

Just a whole lot of Hades.

It was a lot of fun revisiting Warhammer 40K: Space Marine in celebration of the sequel announcement for the live stream this weekend.

Trying to finish up Dead Space on the PC. Gonna show my new Macbook Pro some love with ATOM RPG.

If I get bored with those there is always Red Dead Redemption 2.

Quiet around here. Video game wise I want to try more Lost in Ruin and Deathloop.

I want to finish the Last Argument of Kings and try to cook Chinese Porridge too.

Gonna do some Star Fleet II playtesting along with slicing through more demons with my seasonal character in Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr.

Yakuza 0 is heading off of Gamepass so I figured I'd give it a go before it's gone. Gameplay is kind of meh but I'm liking the vibes so far!

I started Greak: Memories of Azur last night. It's basically a cross between The Lost Vikings and Hollow Knight... or so they tell me. So far, I have been mostly controlling one character, but there was a sequence in which I was controlling two, with a third one forthcoming. I'm only about an hour in, but I've had a great time so far. Beautiful game, and fun too.

Fired up Halo: Infinite campaign.

Feels like Halo.

I have no clue what's going on in this story (haven't played since 3) or who these Gorilla Grodd guys are.

I'm old.

I'm not a Halo person at all. Last Halo I bought was Halo 3. "Finish the fight". Ok, why am I still fighting almost 15 years later? I don't get the story. But Infinite does look really good. I just have no idea whats going on in the story.

Looking for and eventually defeating the current final boss in Valheim with some friends. Probably log more time with Inscryption.

Been playing new acquisition, Aliens: Fireteam Elite on the Twitch channel and poked my neglected ME1 playthrough from the Mass EFfect Legendary Edition.

Want to give Inscryption a try before the weekend is up and decide which open world - of Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA V - to jump back into.

It's horrible storytelling. Like, 40k levels of simple bad/good explanations. It's really cringe. But the weapons feel good as does the movement.

Well, it's already Xmas weekend. I'm still evaluating some games for my Community GOTY list (ok ok, it's really just Inscryption) and trying not to deluge myself with too many Steam sale goodies (already failing btw).

Loving the gameplay of Aliens: Fireteam Elite but without any co-op buddies joining me it's getting frustrating to work through on higher difficulties.

I’m going to be travelling to spend Christmas with extended family but, when not travelling back and forth or there, I’m playing Celeste. It’s rather good and, I’m pretty sure, the first pure platformer I’ve ever gotten into in a big way. I may have to check out others. Although I don’t need a whole other genre’s worth of games haunting my backlog.

I got Horizon Zero Dawn from the Epic sale ($29 minus the $10 coupon seemed like too good to pass up)
I have to say, the first hour of the game is incredibly charming. (though I get the feeling something is going to happen to the adoptive dad very soon)

Hm it's like you've experienced a story before.

Well I got mandated to work so graveyard shift on Sun. Going to play more switch and figure out if I can play on the big tv.

I recently picked up a copy of Skyward Sword HD and Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 (xbox 360). Hoping to play some of each over the holidays.

Chicory, Super Mario Odyssey, and SOTN.

More Warhammer Inquisitor seasonal play and back to Lord of the Rings Online for Yule.

Euro Truck Simulator 2, because them presents won't deliver themselves. And while it's not snowing here, it will be in AC : Valhalla, as I venture back there in a new game - because it's a while since I played and I forgot what I was doing last time.

Stepping away from the screen, I'll be continuing my submarine career in Silent Victory, or taking to the skies in Target for Today. Pushing bits of cardboard round a table and shouting at dice - takes me back to my childhood

Got Warhammer 40K: Battlesector gifted to me and it seems cool so adding to the holiday playlist.

Finally pulled the trigger on The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd, so that is what I will be playing this weekend (and for the next few weeks).

I might play a few quests in Monster Hunter World as well, hoping to get a gold crown or two...
