Naturally we follow the end of the return of finger -> butt with the return of "Space is limited; has to be a chair."

Isn't the rule that they can only get postponed if the game is able to be rescheduled? And with bye weeks over, and the league previously claiming they won't add a 19th week... when can they get rescheduled to?

Noticed that... left it in.

Maybe they cut the season short... By one game...

What about what they did last year with holding make-up games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays?

A 16 game season? Preposterous! Whoever heard of such an abomination?

The majority of the reschedules last year were on other Sundays or Mondays. Only a couple games were on Tuesday or Wednesday, and those required shuffling around games the following week to lengthen the short week.

And even that only works if a couple extra days is a long enough delay to get things under control. Is Cleveland really gonna be able to field an uninfected roster by Tue/Wed?

Dammit, Cleveland, the world was in order when you sucked, but field a playoff team? The world is hammered by the biggest plague in a century, and your team is specifically struck down.

Can you go back to sucking so we can all get back to normal? Selfish bastards.

The Chargers and the Chiefs are really embracing the power of Thursday Night Football tonight.

The Chargers tackling skill must have been put on the COVID list earlier today.

Herbert didn't get the ball in OT. I'm sure all Chiefs fans will agree that it is really unfair for them to win that way.

Chargers 100% deserved to lose that game. At some point, you stop going for it on 4th down and you kick. End of the half should have been that spot.

Browns fans like me...

And I don't think a Covid-decimated Browns can beat anyone on Saturday, much less an ok-ish Raiders team.

Up to 17 players and 2 coaches!

The Browns are reduced to playing Myles Garrett at all positions, just as god intended.

Heinicke has COVID now too

Remember the Pats-Bills game where we had three passes and 1,000 runs? That's the next six weeks of the NFL. Enjoy!

At a certain point, you just have to call the game. Do the Browns even have enough bodies to fill a game day roster?

Sweet, sweet catharsis.

As long as there's players out there to sign.

Wow. Signing a player off the Jags practice squad as your disaster contingency already signals disaster.

I have my phone on stand by in case I get a call. I am a 42 year-old fat man with a bad knee, which puts me in line to play guard.

Or can we call upon the true touchdown Jesus and sign #15... ERR... #85 formerly of the Jags?

I'm 40 and my knees are good. I'm the franchise left tackle!

But why is this guy not got a call?

The league will cancel games before they acknowledge his existence.

But you and I can kneel during the anthem in his place.

If only they had Nick Mullens as their backup, my comment could have been correct.

Moving the Raiders/Browns game is being discussed:

ESPN also reports that the Raiders are lobbying for a forfeit, citing protocols from earlier this year requiring teams with outbreaks to take the L. That’s not the case, however; forfeits were put on the table only for outbreaks among the unvaccinated. There’s no indication the current Cleveland outbreak resulted from anyone other than vaccinated players.

The Browns are scheduled for a Saturday game next week, so moving this week's game to Tuesday would create a very short turnaround for the next week - though as PFT points out, it's the same 3-day turnaround as playing a Thursday night game after playing a Sunday game the previous week.

So we'll see.

If you want him, we can roll with...

Kyle Lauletta or Jake Dolegala

If they move the game, I want a guarantee that Qaaron will get COVID.
