Looks like a lot of fun
edit: and its Guy Ritchie :)
Guy Ritchie will always get me to watch...
And who says Paramount+ doesn't have anything other than Star Trek?

The only problem with that trailer was they showed too much. I liked it a lot.

Almost not worth posting. Statham used to be dumb fun but now he just seems dumb
Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre
It looks like everyone in here is stoked for this but I was getting strong Last Action Hero-but-for-modern-heist-movies vibes.
- Action star doing self-aware mockery of self and the sub-genre that's dominated the last decade (and he's directly tied to)
- Director getting ultra-clever (McTiernan::Ritchie)
- Takes famous genre lines and mocks them
- Huge budget, maybe the largest the director's been given before (stakes go way up)?
- Inside-baseball industry jokes (actor/Hollywood meta stuff) which probably sound HILARIOUS to the people hearing the pitch
I'm with Farley and going WAY under on this being profitable and/or popular.
At worst, it looks like another Red Notice, an entirely forgettable but pleasing-in-the-moment film. Looks fun to me.
It's a Ritchie flick and he uses the same supporting cast of actors with a couple new ones tossed into the mix each time. Statham was in his first one Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and of course Snatch. So it's nothing new for Statham except for his current level stardom.

And you'd be wrong...
Statham was in his first one
Arnie was in Predator, continuing the star/director comparisons!
In all seriousness, you might be right!
I'm just a jaded X-er who, as much as I loved Lock/Stock and burned out the VHS tape I had, thinks this will be a bust.
And I say that as someone who thinks Statham's best work was Lock/Stock.
This looks like it could be amazing, or an utter train wreck.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
*sometimes I finish watching them and regret posting them. This looks pretty horrible.
I didn't know they recast Grindelwald.

Correction. Either way it will be a fun watch.
I had forgotten this song even existed.
Is that Big Gold Brick movie in the vein of Knives Out?
I am intrigued...

No clue... It's the writer/director's first feature film.
Just inject that movie into my eyeballs as soon as humanly possible. God. Eggars is way up on my list of favorite directors these days.
I didn't realize Murder on the Orient Express did well enough to warrant a sequel. But I did enjoy Branagh's Poirot, and I am looking forward to streaming this as well.
When reading all the Poirot novels, I specifically skipped Death on the Nile, knowing the movie would be out soon.
"Soon" was supposed to be 2020 though. So I've been waiting for this one a while now.
Oh mama
I am disappointed they didn't
go with the Star Trek rule for evil dopplegangers from different universes.
