Is that why they call it pounding the ball?

I didn't watch the game, but read the stats this morning.

3 pass attempts? Really? Did Bellichick think he had Taysom Hill at center?

Two of the passes were fourth quarter, I believe. I was hoping they'd finish with just the one.

Running worked. When the other team knows you're running every down and you still go for five yards a pop, well, why stop? Had to be pretty embarrassing for Buffalo's defense.

Also, I think there were pretty severe wind conditions.

Or an invisible wall...

I need to see his character sheet and miniature, and the figure that will inevitably go on sale at the Brown's team shop in two weeks or less.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I approve of the D&D, but the party has a combination of Assassin Rogue, Beserker Barbarian, and PHB Beastmaster Ranger. I DISAPPROVE OF YOUR HIGHLY SUB-OPTIMAL SUBCLASS CHOICES, INCREDIBLY SKILLED PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES.

They need a DnD general manager to make some hard personnel decisions.

Would you want to be the GM making "some hard personnel decisions" with Myles Garrett?

How powerful is his Helmet Bash?

New Jaguars Regime, Same Jaguars Problems — Why James Robinson Deserves Better

In short, for those unaware: the Jags have been rather inexplicable in their treatment of James Robinson, who is clearly the best offensive player (if not the best player overall) on the roster.

Despite Robinson’s production being the driving force of what little offense the Jags had, the staff has seemed to give him the red-headed stepchild treatment, swift to punish any mistake he makes, while giving an inordinate amount of unearned time to Carlos Hyde (guess who his college coach was?).

The latest instance is a benching of Robinson following getting stripped by Aaron Donald early in Sunday’s game, playing Hyde for most of the rest of the game, and then sticking Robinson in for the final clock running out drive with BEAT HARD and the rest of the 2nd team offense.

Afterwards, Urban Meyer - stop me if you’ve heard this before - claimed ignorance and took no responsibility for Robinson’s de facto benching. After first claiming not to know and putting it at the feet of Bevell, Meyer then went on to say it was due to Robinson being banged up, but putting him in for the final plays of the game exposes that lie. Yet another Urban Meyer lie.

This move has seemed to turn a sizable portion of the Jaguars fan base who has been living in denial about Urban Meyer being an absolute scrub, and has once again made Urban Meyer’s scrub-ness the topic of national media stories.

Hopefully it will be enough to get Absentee Owner to make the change, and throw Baalke out too.

"Myles, have a seat...."

Again, what does Urban Meyer actually do on the team?

Never has a GWJ meme been more appropriate.

Bill gets you guys really excited huh??

Well, he's the kind of head coach that runs a team like the CEO of a business. That's what the team said when it hired him.

It turns out "like a CEO" means "let everyone else do the work while you grind up on blondes less than half your age".

So he works at Activision?

Steve Belichick looks like he's rebelling against everything his father stands for despite working for him.

He looks like he cuts the front of his hair with a Flowbee but forgets about the back.

We need a new HBO series to blend Ballers and Succession. Bill as Logan Roy, Steve as Kendall, Brady as Connor, McDaniels as Shiv and Bob Kraft as Roman. I can see it now...

Steve Belichick's one of those really fun guys; you know what they say, Flowbee in the front, party in the back.

Interesting little Urban tidbit from Ask Vic today:

Urban's outsourced his job to an army of coaches. Which brings us back around to Garion's usual question:

Seriously, at this point the only thing he's taken credit for is finger-->butt.

It makes me sad that the younger generations give weird/confused look whenever I try to explain the workings of the Flowbee. Even after seeing the commercial they think it is an old SNL skit.
