But asking Goff to roll out and make a play... bad choice.

FREEZING COLD TAKE

GOFF LEADS THE COMEBACK DRIVE TO WIN

I'm randomly at the game.

1/3 the fans were Vikes fans skoling it up.

Panthers take an L on their bye week and fire OC Joe Brady.

His replacement is RB coach Jeff Nixon, who was Matt Rhule's OC at Baylor.

What, none of Rhule's former Temple coaches were available?!

Panthers Twitter is 50/50 between GOOD RIDDANCE (because Brady is occasionally clever but mostly predictable, especially without CMC and IT'S REALLY A RHULE PROBLEM (because Rhule picked Joe Brady, and pretty much every decision Rhule has made in two seasons has turned completely to sh!t).

Ambulance needed after the opening kickoff between the Niners and Seahawks. Yikes.

Seattle scored a TD on a fake punt because that's basically the only way they can get TDs at this point.

Ravens with the bad 1st quarter start again, not scoring. But at least the Steelers are doing the same.

NFL really needs to put spearing penalties that are automatic DQ’s in the game. SF DE with a cheap shot spear to Russ’s head.

Omg two players later same DE does it again

Dammit. 49ers interception at the goal line but then they get sacked for a safety. Tie game in Seattle

Niners self-destructing in Seattle, what's new?

Looks like Ravens just got another squeaker too. What happened to their offense.

Edit; whoa, spoke too soon..

Sidney Jones molested Sherfield in the endzone, no call. Absurd.

The Steelers-Ravens game ended and it switched over with them showing that play in slow-mo so I thought they were showing an obvious penalty. I was really surprised that was not called.

It sucked. Watched Ravens lose then 49ers lose back to back. Thanks, CBS. And f*ck you, refs.

OL issues are a prime problem.

It's one thing when a missed call like that happens to a receiver on the back side of a play. If everyone's attention was on the other side of the field, and the play was going away from that guy, so be it.

When it happens to the receiver that's the intended target of the pass on that play... there's just no excuse.

Inspired by this Draw Play comic, and the fact the Browns are off and I don't have that emotional baggage to deal with, here are my rooting tiers:

My team, which I hate the most: Browns

Will always root for unless they are playing my team: Bills

Teams I like and almost always wish will do well: Chargers, Bears

Teams I will root for until the day they win a Super Bowl then I will hate them: Titans, Texans, Lions

Teams I'm mostly ambivalent toward: Dolphins, Jets, Colts, Jaguars, Chiefs, Broncos, Giants, Eagles, Packers, Vikings, Falcons, Panthers, 49ers, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals

Teams I don't generally like and find pleasure in watching them lose: Bengals, Raiders, Buccaneers

No likey, go away: Patriots, The WTFs, Cowboys,

Go away, you f*cking pieces of sh*t: Steelers, Ravens

Speaking of Draw Play, don't like or retweet his stuff from today if you don't want a lot of poop showing up on your timeline.

Hmm it only took a year or two of having Brady on the team for everyone to start hating the Bucs eh?

One of the most impressive 20-play 0 point drives you'll ever see. Good grief, Denver. Win TOP but gotta get some points.

It only took about 1 minute of having Antonio Brown on the team to do it.

Yeah, at best it was poorly timed, and a more fair assessment would be unnecessarily sulatious and disturbing in the last panel.

Trigger warning for anyone checking it out for...

Spoiler:

Suicide, gun violence

Pretty much this. I think Brady is a tool, and I would love Gronk. The only thing that keeps them from being lower is that my favorite college QB is their OC.

Giants offense blew open once they got rid of Garrett last week! /s Then again, only so much Kitchens can do with a crappy O line and a playbook Garrett created.

Hopefully for the Panthers, their move fares better...

Sounds like the Ravens are losing Marlon Humphrey to IR.

Uh, yeah, not good.

At the beginning of the season, with 16 on IR, I was fully prepared to be okay with a 7 win season. It has already exceeded my expectations, but I am pretty sure that with all the key injuries, this is not our window for a long playoff run.

We really need to get healthy and younger over the Summer and make a run at it in 2022.

Need a top tier pass rusher and a hell of a lot of new CBs.

Then OL.

And some injury luck.

Then we're good.

The weather forecast expects strong wind gusts at Buffalo tonight. Here are some clips of FG attempts on those conditions. We may see a lot of 4th down attempts and a lot of running the ball.

There were some good pass rushers that changed teams this offseason. Matt Judon, Yannick Ngakoue... Baltimore should have snagged those guys.

Judon was a bad choice to let leave and in still surprised they did. Gotta be Lamar 2022 money being the cost issue there.

Judon is probably the best player on the Patriots right now.
