What are you playing this weekend?

Some Monster Hunter Sories 2
Surviving Mars
A bit of ffxiv and.... hopefully some Nier

I am on the final play through of Nier Automata (It's the third play through, so I think it is the last one.) This game is confounding in a lot of ways.

Plus you have piqued my interest in trying out Absolver again Higgledy :)

It’s very good. It’s also co-op if you fancy giving it a go together.

I'll download and holler if I get on there.

Busy weekend, but I'm starting up a replay of the GBA version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.

It's been so long that I don't remember much about it, but it's certainly as charming as my vague recollections can muster.

May have sort of backed up the truck for some of the sales this week. Now I need to make sense of what I have. Played a little Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Monster Hunter Rise, and Black Book.

I just impulse-bought Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, so that's what I'm going to play this weekend. I also expect some progress in Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

Trails in Cold Steel 3.

Some more Monster Hunter Stories (I do so get lost in some of that resource gathering), some Luigi's Mansion 2, and maybe some Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Dyson Sphere Program, Deathloop, and Forza Horizon 5 for me. Maybe some Far Cry 6 and/or Ghost Recon:Breakpoint

Shin Megami Tensei V
Monster Hunter Stories 2
Surviving Mars

That is the plan

Mostly a mix of Kingdom Hearts and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Thanks to my Stanta, A_Unicycle, I'll be dabbling in these:

Loop Hero, Cats Organized Neatly, Wyldermyth

Great fun, so far!

I’m on the last fight of Absolver (if I don’t go around again on a harder difficulty.) It’s been a phenomenal little game. Really pleased I gave it another chance.

Hopefully more Orcs Must Die 3. We’re on the last map of the DLC trying to get five skulls on the hardest difficulty. It’ll be a bloomin’ relief to get it but at the same time sad to be done.

To continue the ‘nearly done’ theme, the end is in sight in Stranded Deep. We just need to repair our means of escape and maybe kill three bosses. What could possibly go wrong?

I just beat Ratchet & Clank: Rifts Apart (PS5), which was a thoroughly enjoyable game. The story is pretty forgettable, but you don't play those games for the story - you play for the action and the silly guns.

Just started playing Death's Stranding: Director's Cut (PS5). Only 2 hours in, and I'm completely confused and watching a long movie. Definitely a Kojima game. It has promise if it can pull off the crazy world it's setting up.

Going to try to polish off the Plat in Astro's Playroom (though I am a few coins short) and then dig into Guardians of the Galaxy.

Ideally, as much Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker as I possibly can. Assuming servers work okay, anyway. If not, I'll be continuing Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Kingdom Hearts, and maybe a few rounds here and there of Halo Infinite.

Genesis Noir. Played a little bit so far, and I'm not sure if it's pure surrealist walking sum, or if there will be any meaningful gameplay or puzzles.

I'm fine either way, mind you.

Mostly Forza 5 again.

I've also recently started Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. I don't know why it took me so long to get around to this, but I'm glad I did. It's a brilliant platformer. Just as good, if not better than the original DKC.

Solasta on Games Pass. Thinking of getting Mechanicus which is apparently 75% off on Steam. Sprinkle in some WarThunder.

Half Life: Alyx and Eastshade. Enjoying both for different reasons but I'm find them to be very immersive. I wish the latter was in VR too since it really is a beautiful game.

Probably nothing but Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag until I either finish it or overdose on it, whichever comes first. I think I'm close to the end, so hopefully not the latter.

Trying out Fights in Tight Spaces and continuing my plans for galactic domination in Drox Operative 2.

The final DLC levels for Troubleshooters: Abandoned Children drop today, so I'm going to try to get through those. Beyond that, probably putting some time into New Pokemon Snap, which I may also finish this weekend. And Qvdriga with the strategy game club.

Thinking of getting Mechanicus which is apparently 75% off on Steam.

That's gotta be pretty cheap then.
It is well reviewed and I don't know why.
For me, I wanted to like it so much but it fell flat. It sounds really good on paper but it lacks the polish of say 40K Battlesector. In fact, my god would I love it if Battlesector made a Mechanicus campaign

Hopefully going to finally jump in to BF 2042, I've only dabbled but it seems to be in much better shape with the current patch.

Also, continuing my Shadow of the Tomb Raider playthrough on PS5, which is gorgeous and so far my favorite of the 3 current titles.

It’s my favourite as well. I really enjoyed the setting.

Spikeout and I just finished all the levels for Cold as Eyes DLC on Rift Lord difficulty with five skulls in Orcs Must Die 3. Really satisfying to get that last one.

Because it is an novel tactical game that has dope as f*ck organ drops, with some kinda clever writing?

Just seeing these posts made me put on the soundtrack again.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Sekiro for the streams.

Nioh replay for the heck of it.

Got Going Under as a gift yesterday so may dabble in that, along with GTA 5.

Well my new PC arrived a day early (!), so I re-purchased Battlefield 2042 and will be giving that a go. And probably some Halo Infinite, if I can manage to squeeze it around the house showings and open houses (house is for sale).

I also picked up Hunt:Showdown but I suspect I won’t make it to that one.

Still working on Guardians of the Galaxy. Hit chapter 11 last session so I think I could have a chance at the end this weekend
