Agreed.

Right this way, folks!

It's only 53 characters, which actually would make it the longest tag ever (if it fits).

I'm game. Time to test the website limits.

Dear Sir,

I swear to God, I will pay you and Jada to stop telling us about your sex lives. I do not want this information, I was living a better, happier life without it. Please stop.

Best,
Prederick

I love that you know this.

Three two one lets jam.

OGLAF (Link very NSFW) is one of humanity's crowning achievements.

It is indeed. (Fully safe for work, that one, you cowards. But, uh, don't go back or forwards...)

My eyes are vibrating, better go to sleep.

Never accept a box from a supplier that assures you that "it's been opened but everything is there". Your contractor will educate you otherwise and you'll be running out to get a replacement early in the morning a few days later, prompting a full review of parts received and parts missing...

I will build a labyrinth to house humanity's achievements!

I love the labyrinth ones.

Apparently I can book time for free at a nearby community center to use the indoor pool for an hour. Each time block is limited to three people.

I've been meaning to get back to swimming, looks like this is my chance! The pool is fairly small, but I'm no Michael Phelps, so that's fine with me.

Observation from Thanksgiving dinner. A couple years ago, there was a somewhat significant dust-up between my uncle and my cousin. He didn't want to go to church (Catholic). His reasoning at the time was that they just always ask for money. I suspected it was because he just didn't believe.

This year, I noticed that that cousin, and his twin brother, both did not make the sign of the cross at the beginning and end of the prayers. I think that their Catholicism has lapsed. That makes me happy.

Bought some eyes to stick into masks. The eyes seem to follow me wherever I go. I never thought about this optical illusion before. I can see that it happens because of the placement of the eyes on wall instead of the eye socket of the masks. Interesting discovery.

Or,... Counterpoint... They eyes actually *are* following you...

You going to carry that weight. Some people load up and the weight breaks them. You however, you going carry it all like Atlas holding up the heavens.

How often does it happen that someone buys their very first box of plastic bags and actually needs the raft of twist-ties, instead of having a thousand in a drawer already?

You need the right glue for the right project. Since I am always buying stuff and stuff comes in boxes I started making a ammo box. Not to hold ammo but to catch it. I mean nerf and bbs not real gun ammo. Stuff you can shoot inside the house.

Anyway I started with mod podge which worked really well for cardboard on cardboard. Then I used hot glue gun for the foam backing on cardboard. This worked mostly. The problem I was having it was drying really fast before I could cover the entire area and the foam is on the hard side. So I think I should have use Mod Podge instead or something else.

I then put down some hard plastic sheets on top of the foam. I used Mod Podge that didn't go so well. The glue wasn't drying at all. So after a day I used a heat gun to go over the plastic sheet. That worked but took to much time.

For the second plastic sheet I use gorilla glue. A little of this goes a long way. My only problem was the glue expanded outside the sheet and kind of stuck to the weights holding the sheet down.

So I will continue the project with mod podge for cardboard and gorilla glue for everything else. I have one more sheet of plastic to put down. Then I will put sound proofing foam on top of that. Not for sound proofing just added stopping ability. Also my original reason for having the sound proofing doesn't exist. Then I will hang netting of some kind. Maybe a old shirt, shelf liner, or some cloth I have from making doll clothes. Heck maybe I'll use all three. No no no I'll use one and just add more if needed.

I caught a whiff of Brut from something and I instantly thought I was in the locker room after middle school gym class.

When I built myself a new PC in early 2020, I bought a new GeForce RTX 2080 TI, because I wanted to go overkill. It was expensive.

I just checked how much a card like mine costs now and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I bought a pre-built system in December 2020 that includes a GeForce RTX 3080 10gb Founders Edition.

I don't have the prices of the individual components, but I definitely would have remembered if the card cost the $2500-$3000 that I see quoted online today.

That's the way it's been for awhile now, buying a whole pre-built system that includes the card is often cheaper and quicker than trying to buy just the new card itself.

Had to get out of my car at an intersection to let the person in front of me know that they had to move closer to the white line, otherwise the traffic light would not turn green because it's proximity triggered. Apparently me making pushing signs and moving my car closer and closer was not clear enough.

I'm sure the fifty+ cars behind mine were happy when it went green after 10 minutes.

I've noticed more drivers doing that lately. My driving son reported that my state is teaching new drivers to stop further back from the intersection. However, like you say, when the traffic light sensors are closer to the crosswalk that creates an issue.

Isn’t… isn’t that what the stop line is for? As in, isn’t there already a clearly indication of specifically that? Why, in heavens name, Would instructors teach people to stop further back than the distinctly marked place to stop??

Archaically placed stop lines? Around me, tractor trailors and fire trucks can't make the turn at most intersections if there's a car right at the stop line. Stopping before the line is probably safer than having to backup when the side of an eighteen wheeler is about to wrap you around a telephone pole.

If the government wants people to stop sooner, then they can move the stop lines back.

Are you suggesting that everyone should always stop 20ft before the stop line in case there’s a tractor-trailer that wants to turn?
