Yes, it's "Gimme chocolate!!" specifically.

The most metal song about sisters fighting over chocolate that's likely ever to be made.

Not to be an entitled gamer, but cut scene trailers just do very little for me. Though it is good for getting a gist of the tone. A year ago we got a shorter trailer, but no gameplay either. Its a bummer.

Lookin good!

Is this the Guardians of the Galaxy game with a different developer?

Shut up and take my money.

They finally released a trailer for the GTA Trilogy remasters.

Due out November 11th (digitally) on all current platforms. Also the remaster of San Andreas is going to be on Game Pass.

I am amazed at much excitement this seems to be creating. It just floors me how my longevity Rockstar has been able to get from this series without a new game in years and years.

I'm kind of burned out on GTA after IV and V and I haven't even played one of them since V came out over 8 years ago. The modern day settings are way less interesting than the period ones like San Andreas and Vice City. In fact would love to see them do another Vice City set in the 80s with all the modern bells and whistles. Actually I think it might be fun to revisit GTA3. The story wasn't very important in that game and it was more of a chaos engine than a simulator like the newer games have been.

May dabble in the VR port of San Andreas when it eventually comes out. Otherwise, no interest.

Call of Duty Vanguard - Before You Buy
*seems good but also like a game I can pick up on sale pretty soon.

Just sell me the Laura Bailey section

I'm not sure why this is the year publishers decided to start dumping money into Smash clones, but here we are. At least this one looks to have the budget and voice talent that Nickelodeon All Star Brawl was lacking.

I can't wait to fight Arya Stark as Shaggy.

Edit: Apparently, this will be free to play as well. That seems like a big deal.

"Or compete in eSports"

Yeah no, this isn't gonna be an eSports contender. Granted, the footage is clearly in development, but I can't tell if it's the framerate, animation, or both, but there's something that feels off about this that makes it clear it's lacking the polish of Smash. It certainly looks like it has more money put into it than All-Stars Brawl, but neither looks like they come close to what Smash Bros. has and does.

That this is Warner Bros. Interactive going Free-to-Play also has me skeptical of the microtransaction store they're going to use to try and get it earning cash.

It's funny. When I saw the Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl stuff, I thought "Y'know, I was really more of a Warner Bros. kid in the 90's. If they did a WB version of that, I might be down". Monkey pawed, because it's WB, but not the WB I give a crap about.

I feel bad for non-Nintendo system owners that play these games and convince themselves they have something as good as Smash Bros.

I noticed that too. It looks like it's being played in slightly slow motion or shot in a lower frame rate. I hope that is just from being early in development.

Right at the edge of impulse purchase ($20) anyone tried it?

Death's Door

I picked it up on PC this past summer and really enjoyed it, It's not particularly complex, but there are some clever puzzles of perspective, and whole boatload of content after the "end".

Played it on PC as well. Absolutely worth $20. It's a great game!

In a very uncharacteristic display of restraint I did not buy it. I watched Wanderbots play it a bit and I realized it is 99% Hades. And, as you may guess, I haven't finished Hades so rather than buy another game of the same genre I am going to go back to playing Hades if I want this type of game.

(Unless it goes on sale of course )

I mean, if you mean "isometric action game" then yes, but Death's Door is not a roguelike/lite and, because of that, probably takes far less time to complete than Hades. But, yes, beat it twice already. It's one of the better games I played this year.

+1 to Ccesarano. You must have only watched a tiny bit of the game to somehow assume it's like Hades. It definitely gets more into Zelda like territory as you progress. Much like another underappreciated game from this year, Unsighted.

I would love to see actual gameplay. It is still a year out but I hope there is some and I would like to see it.

I wouldn't expect any before E3. Went ahead and made a Catch-All thread for Starfield.
