Shooting stars on my island, gates open until battery dies. dodo GV431

Ah good times.

Yesterday I learned that Kapp'n can randomly take you to an island that is always night-time with constant shooting stars and all types of star bits inside all the rocks. It was pretty great.

What do the amiibo cards do? I'm long done with this game but my daughter is still into it so I was considering trying to get her these for Christmas but I am genuinely unsure what the point of them is.

They used to just be for getting villagers to move. Scan and they visit campground. And then they were the only way you could force another villager to leave and get a choice of who.

Now with the Happy Home DLC I think there's a lot more, where you can call them to that Island. I actually have not really played again since the DLC so can't confirm. Keep meaning to jump back in.

I have played the DLC a ton, though I haven't used the Amiibo cards. Basically you are designing different villagers a vacation home under a theme. Like, say Elise wants a Relaxing Reading Room. And you have 3 items that must be in the room (as decided by your client), but otherwise you can do whatever you want creatively with how you set up the room (and also the exterior of the home once you learn how to do that). The themes can be fun, or strange. You also get to help design the facilities available on the resort island. So far I've made a learning center and a cafe. Next up I can make a restaurant whenever I want.

Since its your job you get to also revisit former clients and see how they're liking their home and expand it (you can change the size of the main room), and also redesign it if you've gained more skills to do so.

Anyone have a decent turnip price today? I bought a bunch last Sunday but I got busy and ignored my island and turnip calculator most of the week.

I've had excellent results utilizing turnip.exchange for selling turnips!

Ah, thanks!
Totally forgot about that!
