But Legion, would you rather have Mac or I donno...
Trevor Lawrence or Trey Lance?
If I had to win a game in 2021? Mac Jones.
Long term? I’m sticking with the higher ceiling guys.
You know, other than Interceptions. Jesus has more of those than The Knife.
Jesus is lucky that Jared Goff and Zach Wilson have been so abysmal because if they weren't there'd be oh so many more article about how Trevy is the worst QB in the league by most metrics.
Lawrence threw 7 INTs in the first 3 games.
He’s thrown 2 INTs in the last 7 games.
He’s probably protecting the ball too much at this point, because the Jags offense is so beyond inept that the alternative to risky throws is 3-and-outs. He’s the 6th most pressured QB in the league, yet is only 26th in sacks taken. He has the 4th lowest “pressure to sack %”.
The Jags can’t protect him one lick, and he’s doing everything possible to avoid throwing INTs and taking sacks.
You’d think the Jags offense, with their 3rd-best in the league 5.1 rushing yards per attempt, would build on their ground game to establish a more balanced offense, but no, they’re 26th in rushing attempts.
Seattle Coach Voltron is out there asking rookie Lawrence to play veteran Russell Wilson hero ball. Pretty much the exact offensive look I feared with their hiring.
Packers released Bortles. The dream is over.
Packers released Bortles. The dream is over.
Bortles' career average depth of target was ?.? because no one was ever sure who exactly he was targeting.
Hey Peyton, remember that time you threw 6 interceptions?
Yeah, thanks Al Michaels.
Hahaha
Fake field goal fail.
Suck it, McVay.
I cannot imagine the terror the Rams player felt when he realized he was about to get tackled in the open field by a defensive lineman. That was an unnecessarily desperate attempt.
"It's a different speech now, Phil."
I was Today Years Old when I found out they turned that Mean Joe Greene Coke commercial into a TV movie. It was the Ted Lasso of its day.
OBJ maybe should of waited that week.
See, that's what happens when you run a real 4th down play instead of a stupid fake field goal.
Stafford has thrown about 7 INTs in this game, if you count dropped ones and penalties.
Another Rams/Niners game where Deebo goes off and Aaron Donald does jack sh*t.
OBJ: 2 catches, 18 yards, blown route that resulted in INT. 0-1 as a Ram.
Von Miller: invisible. 0-2 as a Ram.
Rams trying to buy a Super Bowl title: couldn't buy a win in SF
Shanahan > McVay
Garoppolo > Stafford
Legion, I'm honestly curious about the origins of your hatred for the Rams.
Legion, I'm honestly curious about the origins of your hatred for the Rams.
I was born a 49ers fan in the early 1980s.
The Rams are the one true rival and enemy of the 49ers. Their move to St. Louis ruined that, and their return to Los Angeles, where they belong, has restored it fully.
The Rams, by the way, have not defeated the Niners in 1,051 days.
Stafford hasn't beaten the 49ers in a longer spell.
I liked it when we beat them 17 in a row in the 90s. f*ck the Rams
Well, that makes a lot of sense, thanks for clarifying.

Everything was great until Kurt Warner showed up.
Jim Everett, Chris Miller, Tony Banks... those were the days.
So who's the MVP then?
Books have Josh Allen as the favorite but I'm not sure about him solidifying that down the stretch.
That Mahomes guy is 21:1 and could maybe run the table down the stretch and still put the Chiefs in at the second seed. First might be a reach as the Titans are in the AFC South.
No one
Gonna end up a Jonathan Taylor then.
No one
Gonna end up a Jonathan Taylor then.
A RB on a wild card team? Ya that's not happening.
Maybe a defensive player if they break a record down the stretch outside a QB.
Season records are going to happen on both sides of the ball with the extra game.
So who's the MVP then?

Why not? He sacks, he intercepts, he recovers fumbles...
... oh, you mean the one that got sacked, intercepted, and fumbled.
You can't win MVP when you're not even the MVJA.
Anyway, the MVP is obviously Mac Jones.

Listen, for all the talk about FRESNO STATE, we all know true greatness comes from THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA.
So many amazing answers, I'm happy I asked. Everyone gets a like!
Anyway, the MVP is obviously Mac Jones.
Chase is still leading this category for the rookies but ya if the Pats manage to win the AFC East Mac is winning some kind of award.
