US Soccer Catch-All

Like, I don't wanna get TOO hyped...

....but................

USMNT's tag on GWJ should be "IHAVEABIGPEPI."

ESPN has a great article about Pepi that was written before last night's game, which is almost funny in a way:

https://www.espn.com/soccer/united-s...

If this kid isn't in Europe next year, I don't know what's going on. He's doing great things in MLS and now the USMNT as well.

Was a good read, I had known nothing of Pepi going into last nights game and only heard of him when he made is USMNT debut. Glad to see some promising talent choosing USA over Mexico when their ties to Mexico are strong.

Thanks for the link to the article.

This Panama match has been ugly. US looks exhausted from the first minute

Ironic, since this match was supposed to be the US bringing fresh legs against a tired Panama side.

Well. Yuck.

Screw no VAR. The Mexico face claw at the 68 minute was a red card. Man, I hate Mexico men's soccer.

Dayum. What a goal!

EAT IT EL TRI

Great goal but this officiating is a problem. Ref is like, "sure...players are getting hurt but how dare you speak to me, US players. You are the real problem!"

DOS A CERO

For the first time in as long as I can remember, the USMNT didn't just win, they have thoroughly outplayed Mexico.

DELIGHTUL.

Dos a Cero, diez a once, let freedom ring!

And Taylor says they're introducing VAR in January? It can't get here soon enough!

Call them LLL Tri.

My three favorite words in Spanish.

It will still be CONCACAF officials running the VAR, right?

Jeez Pred, that man had a family!

In the movie, Aaronson will be played by Timothee Chalamet. Unless Pulisic is played by Timothee Chalamet. Well, pretty sure there's a part in there for him somewhere.

Satisfying.

Memo Ochoa: "Mexico is the mirror in which the United States wants to see itself"

They really did. Possession, composure, scoring chances, **GASP** Creativity?

Is it me or is this Jamaican pitch utter trash?

Welcome to Concacaf.

Would you prefer to be Mexico playing on the plastic pitch up in Edmonton tonight?

So far, not enjoying this whole "lose the ball in dangerous positions" tactic we're trying.

Pulisic dribbling directly into two defenders and then asking for a foul was a low point. Ferreira needs some end product. Zimmerman was robbed - ref should have to card himself for that one.

Gonna die laughing if JAmaica beats Mexico though.

Ah well. Three more points for the USMNT though.

Canada, eh?

Their counter-attack is impressive. They deserved that win. We looked flat and unable to string together passes in the final third.

So much whining about the weather. Such babies. If I could play in this when I was on the middle school soccer team, these assholes can play in it.
