Return of the Obra Dinn on sale on Switch again.

Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children on sale on Steam again.

Both pretty well liked around here.

sh*t. I just bought Hitman 3 on Epic but the Switch version of Obra Dinn is one I've been waiting on. Well, there goes another $15.

Oh yeah Epic Game Store doing a sale until Nov 1. And a $10 coupon if you sign up for their emails. Guess you can turn it back off after you get the coupon hehe.

The Outer Wilds for $5 with coupon is a steal. Also Death's Door for $6.

I'm thinking about Rogue Legacy 2 for $10. Hard to beat for a pre-order/early access.

I'm allowing myself one of these games from the Epic Store with the £10 voucher...

Black Book £4.99
Going Medieval £5.99
A Monster’s Expedition £5.99
Against the Storm £4.39
Rogue Legacy 2 £5.99
Grime £6.99
(price stated is with voucher discount, £5 = approx $7)

Hmm, now to decide...

I'm glad I waited before buying Sable, I got it at half price thanks to that coupon...

Will I play Satisfactory at discount + $10 coupon or will I just keep going back to my comfort zone with modded Minecraft?

I like Satisfactory. There are also mods if that's a thing you like.

My kids (8,10) also like Satisfactory, and bounce between that, MC, and Stardew Valley. Their factories are completely unorganized and very inefficient, but they have a lot of fun building and exploring.

Coffee Stain appear to be great folks who treat their community well. Supporting them also seems to be a pretty worthwhile thing.

Free on Epic this week: Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition

Free on Epic next week: DARQ: Complete Edition

I like Satisfactory.

Turns out that I do too. Thanks for the rec.

SO yeah, Darq!

And next week, Aven Colony.

And the Halloween sale ends Nov 1 I think?

Also Steam started Halloween sale today.

Also Darkest Dungeon 2 released? What? When?

Lots of stuff on sell on steam. humble has I think all the sonic games for $13 in one of their bundles. Not sure I want to double dip or not. I do like sonic even the two adventure games.

Early access on the Epic Games store. Very much unfinished, by the sound of it. But promising.

Prime Gaming finally revealed their last Guild Wars 2 reward. It's a Heroic Edition copy of the game. If you already don't own it, free game. If you do have the game already, 18-slot bag, and some other goodies.

3 months of PC Game Pass for $1 for non-subscribers. It doesn't seem to be limited to first-time subscribers.

Free via Prime Loot:

Dragon Age: Inquisition on Origin
Control Ultimate Edition on GOG
Rise of the Tomb Raider Full Game + Bonus content on Epic

Some other games free , too.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is $20 on Amazon (PS4, PS5, Xbox), and is matched at BestBuy and GameStop.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is also $15 on Amazon for PS4, PS5, and Xbox, while the Switch version is $20, and these are matched at BestBuy and GameStop (the last one wants $25 for it).

Watch Dogs: Legion is also $15 on Amazon (PS4, PS5, Xbox), and is matched at BestBuy and GameStop (except for Xbox).

Immortals gets a bit of a bad rap but it is a really fun game.

It did?
I know it was a poor port for Switch, but I loved it on PS4.

Edit - The DLCs were lame.

77 on Metacritic for the PS5 version (and similar scores for the other versions). If I saw that I without playing would assume it was pretty bad. I think it is quite a bit better than that.

Worked for me, I had previously subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate about a year ago when they had a $1 for 3 months deal then. Thanks!

Worked for me too. Maybe I'll give that new Halo a spin when it comes out.

Is there a quick and easy way to learn how this works for a potential first time subscriber? I've ignored it until now because of The Pile.

Yeah it's tempting but then that's 90 days of pile progress I won't make.

The fun thing is, game pass games are ephemeral. They eventually go away or your service ends. Regardless, they won’t have an added effect directly on your pile. Indirectly, they definitely have an effect. They’ve been nothing but a boon for me on console.

Looks like DA:I and Control are both codes that could be shared if you already own a copy. Keys to happiness thread here.

Darnit. I just picked up a single month for PC Game Pass for $1 less than a week ago. Now I'm a subscriber, and can't take advantage of this 3 month deal

BestBuy has Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Watch Dogs: Legion digital codes for $15 each (PS4/PS5/XBox). Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is also availability digitally for $20.

Valhalla $20. Tempted as I like AC but sentiment, I think, on GWJ is meh about the game. Hmm
