NCAA Football 2021-22 Season

Wow.

Whelp, guess the Dawgs are number one.

With a, [checks notes] battle of unbeatens next week when, [checks notes again] Kentucky comes to Athens.

Somebody check on Fed. ;)

It was a rough couple weeks. Tottenham got annihilated by Arsenal in there, too.

Feeling much better right now!

Is Fed ok? No posts all week.

I, uh, don't think today's game is gonna help.

That sinking realization that you payed the same coach that hollowed out FSU's foundation the equivalent of the GDP of a medium sized country to finish seventh in the SEC West.

Football Gods: TAMU will beat Alabama this year

Fed:

Football Gods: They'll be coming off a 2 game losing streak when it happens

Fed:

I think I know what school gets the top image this week. Fed, any particularly cool landmarks at TAMU I should use?

Significant step towards playoff expansion! Congrats.

When conference leaders lose to unranked conference opponents that means a conference is strong right?

Clearly, the best 25 teams in the country are all in the SEC, as the backups for UGA, Bama, etc. are better than the non SEC teams.

SEC. Not Smug. Just Better.

I'd just go with a picture of Kyle Field rockin' during a game.

Anyone else note that TAMU beat Alabama by more than they beat Colorado... which may be the worst team in the Pac-12 (yes, maybe worse than Cal.. we'll find out in a few weeks)?

Quality losses all around.

EDIT: Realized I misread the score. TAMU won by 3 points in both cases. So congrats to the Crimson Tide for hanging in against the mighty Aggies as closely as the 1-4 (0-2) Colorado Buffaloes!

It’s always fun watching our local Cal-Anon crank taking on the mighty SEC. keep it up

lets say A&M > Alabama > Ole Miss > A&M... everyone basically says they beat the #1 and lost to #1 so therefore they should all be #1.

While I didn't quite hit the parlay, I'm still going to pat myself on the back a bit. Playoff Expansion 2024.

In a recent episode of "NCAA Presents, What If", Mack Brown doesn't steal the Rose Bowl from Cal in 2004. In that universe Pac-12 Avenger Carlbear95 hangs up his shield and fades into the sunset, unconcerned about the meaning of quality losses and the SEC unbreakable Circle of Awesomeness, and the GWJ College Football thread is decidedly less interesting.

Since the rest of the CFB world doesn't pay attention to football west of Texas, you'll just have to continue to get your Pac-12 news from yours truly.

WSU's HC Nick Rolovich is refusing to take the vaccine.

Not a problem in most college football fandom areas, but Washington State has a vaccine requirement for all state employees, and if he doesn't get an exemption or the vaccine by this week, he can be terminated.

If WSU was actually as bad as they were supposed to be this easily ends in his firing. However, WSU is currently 2-0 in the P12 North. And while that's no where near as good as 1-2 in the SEC West, it suddenly puts the administration in a tougher spot than it was in 3 weeks ago.

He is evidently going for a religious exemption... woops.. Archdiosece of Seattle says NOPE. I have no idea if Rolovich is Catholic or if there's a different archdiosece in Spokane that will be happy to grant an exemption, but he has 5 more days to comply.

Yeah saw that on Twitter. Highest paid state employee at $3 million a year.

Screw him. Hope they fire him.

Clemson is absolutely terrible this year, so I'm extra-annoyed Syracuse managed to f*ck up getting a W.

Go Bears!

Was second-screening it while watching the ALCS. Was pulling for 'cuse.

PAC 12 after dark... Cal leads Oregon

Bleh.. 2 yards short

Man, the one time I pull for Cal, and Carl doesn't even "Like" my post. Never cheering for Cal again!

We all knew this was about to happen to Iowa, didn't we?

Kirby is going to run up the score every chance he gets while Stoops is at Kentucky after that timeout.

He just wanted to cover. Lot of money made those last 7 seconds. And still got the under

Oh for sure, and I'm positive Kirby would give them credit for successfully completing their epic 11 minute drive in the fourth quarter down 23.

This is a BAD look, Tennessee. Y'all be hitting your own cheerleaders.

3rd time in 3 weeks unranked team beats top 3 team. In 2 cases i'm sure its because the conference is terrible.. for the 3rd... PLAYOFF EXPANSION!
